DC's The Source blog confirms that Geoff Johns (DC Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer and writer of Justice League, Green Lantern and Aquaman) will pen the seventh episode of Arrow, titled "Muse on Fire". He's been involved with the series since day one and he will write the episode alongside executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg. "I'm thrilled to be writing this episode of ARROW, and while I can't give too much away, I think comic fans are going to like what we have in store for them – keep an eye out for the Huntress," teased Johns. Below is a Tweet from the writer confirming that filming is now taking place. Arrow will premiere on the CW on October 10th.

@marvel72 Smallville didnt suck overall. I didnt like the direction the last 2 years took when they took what was a realistic show and turned it into a revival of Lois and Clark, but the show overall was great.
Its worst period wouldve been season 4.

As for Geoff Johns episodes, they were good and half of the Absolute Justice 2 parter was directed by Tom Welling. And though Absolute Justice was well done, Johns idea of the Villain was very poor.

Guggenheim still managed to get his hands on it. Still gonna suck.
