Stan Lee Gets A Pacemaker "To Be More Like My Fellow Avenger, Tony Stark"

He might be 90 years of age, but Stan Lee is still going strong with numerous convention appearances, various projects and his always memorable cameos in all of Marvel's major movies. However, he's obviously not a young man, and after recent worrying reports about him cancelling upcoming appearances due to "a very serious circumstance", "The Man" has released the following statement in which he confirms that he is perfectly fine and in good spirits after having a pacemaker fitted. From all of us here at ComicBookMovie, get well soon Stan!

Attention, Troops!

This is a dispatch sent from your beloved Generalissimo, directly from the center of Hollywood’s combat zone!

Now hear this! Your leader hath not deserted thee! In an effort to be more like my fellow Avenger, Tony Stark, I have had an electronic pace-maker placed near my heart to insure that I’ll be able to lead thee for another 90 years.

But fear thee not, my valiant warriors. I am in constant touch with our commanders in the field and victory shall soon be ours. Now I must end this dispatch and join my troops, for an army without a leader is like a day without a cameo!

@CaptainCool I'll ignore the fact that you don't know the difference between conceded and conceited and just say this: I've had the pleasure of meeting Stan and he is actually as humble as they come. I told him what an honor it was and he just put his hands together appreciatively and said thank you.

He ALWAYS gives credit where credit is due. He's even said he'd be no where without Jack Kirby and many others.

D@mn. I am very glad to hear that he's fine and still has sense of humor still intact, LoL. Here's to you, Sir Stan Lee, for you to live another 90 years and more. I thank you for my colorful childhood with your ingenius creations and characters and your unique sense of humor. God bless you, your wife, family and take good care, Mr. Lee.
EXCELSIOR!!

Stay EPIC, my friends!

@CaptainCool There are only 2 characters in the comic universe more beloved than Stans original creations so jog on. Because Superman is lame so that leaves only Batman. Stan Lee is a superstar and gives back to his fans with appearances almost as much as he's given us with his characters.

@CaptainTOOL

Thank you for showing us just how important it is to stay in school. What koolaid are you NOT drinking? The kind where you speak on something you know nothing about? Stan "THE MAN" Lee always gives credit to everyone EXCEPT HIM. He is very open in saying that without the writers, artists and fans he would be no where. He has said that Jack Kirby deserves most of the credit and that he was the greatest comic creators of all time. Dont come on a site about comic books and comic movies and talk ish about the person who we owe everything we enjoy too.
