Explosive New Trailer And Poster For A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD Released

A new teaser trailer for A Good Day To Die Hard introduces us to John McLane's son, 'Jack'. In the footage, we also see Mary Elizabeth Winstead's return as 'Lucy'. Meanwhile, a new poster sees Bruce Willis proclaiming, "Yippee Ki-Yay Mother Russia!"

We have a double dose of A Good Day To Die Hard goodies for you today, with a new teaser trailer (via Yahoo! Movies) and poster (via Entertainment Weekly). Plot details are still scarce at this point, but the trailer does confirm earlier reports that the fifth instalment in the franchise will see John McLane head to Moscow to help his son out of a spot of bother.

I get that he's goin after his kid but the whole point is that he just gets caught up in this stuff and has to figure a way out and blow stuff up along the way. DH 2 where he stabs that dude with the icicle is still one of the best kill scenes.

I love em all. John McClain is my favorite character to grace the big screen, and as long as they're entertaining and have a good albeit stupidly unbelievable story, I'll be there opening day. I still stand by my point that they need to do Die Hard cross overs.

To be honest, and I know I'm gonna get ridiculed for saying this, but I'd rather it be PG-13. I know the first three were R, but when a movie tries to force an R rating, the movie ends up lacking in everything except excessive language and sex. I'd rather see tons of PG-13 violence that will hit a wider audience then a bunch of R-rated violence that will be way more over the top than an R-rated 80's film and hit a smaller audience. Also, excessive swearing is distracting from a movie. I know its realistic because people swear all the time, but seriously, look at District 9. Watch the unedited version. Then watch a version with the language edited out. The latter is much better.

And DH4 without language (McClane use hard language) and without blood (you use gun you get blood) is out of franchise. Fox is forcing this franchise to be friendly for kids and familys and thats just wrong. Kids have Iron Man, Batman etc, so why make DH for kids? Money of course, but thats just taking all good away from this series. District 9 is amazing movie. Way that director want it to be seen it's with language and way you watch it is not how director want's it to be. Maybe you can't take language, but I can and so can many others. I can't even think about that movie without language. Just horrible thing to censor movies like that. And PG-13 action is lame. It's okay with Bond, superheroes and etc, but with movie like Die Hard? Just not what I expected.

I just wish Willis was more 'old school' McClane and less the overly serious hard man Bruce he's become in the last 10 years. I got that in this trailer. "You need a hug?" "Oh, where not a 'hugging' family." "Damn straight." I did in fact 'LOL'.
