Last year's live action trailer for the latest Call of Duty instalment featured Sam Worthington and Jonah Hill, but the one for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 attempts to outdo that by reuniting director Guy Ritchie with his Sherlock Holmes star, Robert Downey Jr.

Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare. Combining incredible high-dynamic range graphics and sensational new gameplay, Black Ops II sets you off on secret operations as Frank Woods – the protagonist from the original Black Ops game. Ign is way ahead of ya cbm.com lol trailer was ok but last years was far better. I hope this game is good but it's the players that play it who ruin it for everyone.

Actually the horse and the tank combine in the middle of the game into an Iron Horse with a mounted Gatling gun.

This game sucks its campaign is gonna be good but its multiplayer wont match medal of honor warfighter

I don't see the disdain some people have for this game, yeah its full of jerks online, but it alright for passing some time. Though it will lose out due to Halo 4 and AC3 coming out so close to it.

Zombies is always a lark as well if you get 3 friends with you.

I don't have a huge issue with these games like most people I just refuse to buy this or any game that ha an annual release because while they make some improvements it's still just exactly what you played a year prior.

I loved Modern Warfare 2, but everything has gone down-hill since then. Activision killed Call of Duty when they fired the higher-ups at Infinity Ward, and turned this franchise into a watered-down, been-there-done-that cash cow.

People will buy it though, and there will be a Modern Warfare 4 next year, and a Black Ops 3 after that, and then a MW5. We'll all play the campaign once, and roll our eyes when the ending turns out to be a quicktime event. Then we'll play multiplayer for about a week, and realize that playing against foul-mouthed 12-year olds over the internet is a waste of time. I'll save my $60, thanks.

black ops 2 won't be affected by halo 4 and assassin's creed 3, it's preorders are already 82% ahead of mw3, black ops 2 is set to smash the opening records of mw3, and that's going to be crazy, cause mw3 made 400 million in 24 hours, and mw3 made 775 million in five days, i look for black ops 2 to blow past a billion, just like black ops, mw2, and mw3 did

Blops 2 looks very promising but ive had a bad taste in my mouth since th utter shit storm that was mw2 so we'll see. Ive watched about 4 hours of multiplayer footage from gamescom and i liked what i saw, and was a fan of Black ops (for the most part) but Mw2 and the slightly better but still awful Mw3 have me cautious

treyarch made black ops and black ops 2, infinity ward made the modern warfare series, i like treyarch better, cause they actually try to change and push the series forward, whereas infinity ward didn't change anything, all the modern warfare games are the same online, and plus treyarch made zombies, and that is fun
