Is Work Finally Moving Ahead On A Fifth TERMINATOR Movie?
There's been a lot of rumours about a fifth Terminator movie, and while it very nearly got off the ground last year, it's been a while since we heard anything definitive. Well, Annapurna Pictures have promised fans that "News Is Coming". Hit the jump for details!
Annapurna Pictures picked up the rights to The Terminator franchise last year, and while it looked as if Justin Lin (Fast and Furious) would helm a fifth instalment in the franchise, those plans fell through soon after. As you can see from the Tweet below, the studio has now rather cryptically teased that "News Is Coming" about the film. Could this be some sort of announcement in regards to a release date? Of course, the film still needs a writer, director and cast at this point, although it's widely assumed that Arnold Schwarzenegger WILL return, if only for a cameo. Annapurna are best known for releasing such critically acclaimed films as Killing Them Softly, The Master, Lawless and upcoming release Zero Dark Thirty.
