When Disney bought Marvel for $4 billion back in 2009, they pretty much left the company alone to carry on with what they'd successfully been doing for many years before the purchase. Yes, there were a few changes here and there, but nothing too major. That's not the case with LucasFilm. Disney are planning on ushering in a whole new era of Star Wars films with a new trilogy (something that fans never thought they would see) and countless other types of merchandise, TV shows and video games too. Thought it was weird seeing The Avengers toys in the Disney Store? Just wait until it's Star Wars' turn! However, this is by no means a bad thing, although some older fans definitely don't seem to happy with the news.
