"I have to say I haven't signed a contract, nor have I read a script," Sir Ian McKellen told MTV News about his commitment to Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past while promoting the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. "But when Bryan Singer calls, on the whole, I follow." So, we can definitely expect to see him back, regardless of whether or not he's signed up as of right now. However, he went on to reveal that he's most looking forward to the possibility of teaming up with Michael Fassbender's younger 'Magneto'! "Wouldn't that be fun. I'd hope he'd enjoy it as much as I would. I don't know how it's going to work. I suspect it's a flashback. The comics do go to and fro in time." Despite the fact that he has yet to see the screenplay, the actor added that he doesn't think it will necessary follow the comic book storyline that it is named after. "I don't think it'll be quite as simple as that."
