STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Prequel Comic Offers A New Look At J.J. Abrams' Klingons
They were cut from 2009's Star Trek and have been rumoured to make an appearance in this May's Star Trek Into Darkness, but the cover of Countdown To Darkness offers up our best look at the villains yet and may just confirm their role in the sequel.
There have been rumblings that we'll see the Klingons return in Star Trek Into Darkness after they were cut from the first instalment of J.J. Abrams' rebooted franchise, and the cover of IDW's Countdown To Darkness offers up our best look at the villains yet. While this isn't confirmation that they will indeed make an appearance in the highly anticipated sequel, this certainly seems like a good indication that they will indeed play some sort of role in Into Darkness. The prequel comic book series is written by Mike Johnson and includes a story by Roberto Orci and art by David Messina. The fourth and final issue goes on sale in April. [via Comic Book Resources]
