We've often been fooled by fan-made stills or posters from various websites, but Desde Hollywood claims that this Man of Steel image (featuring Amy Adams as 'Lois Lane') is 100% legit. They go on to say that it was accompanied by a Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures watermark and have since been in touch to tell us that, "The image comes from a black and white booklet printed and passed around in an event honoring Amy Adams." What do you guys think? Real or fake? Personally, I'm betting on the former. For now, we're just going to have to wait and see!

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

Certainly don't know what other movie it's from, and it doesn't look manipped.
SuperDude001 - 1/29/2013, 3:47 PM
Could very much be real, it's convincing, just suspicious of the source and it's blur (also it's black and white) make it appear likely it's a fake.
Either way nice though.
ManofSteel22 - 1/29/2013, 3:48 PM

ManofSteel22 - 1/29/2013, 3:49 PM
Good point @superdude001

Usually fakes are harder to spot in black and white because it blends alot of the photoshop in
CavEl - 1/29/2013, 3:53 PM

@ Tea - Nothing wrong with being a ginger...

Some Gingers are the best at what they do. =)
GreekLantern2814 - 1/29/2013, 4:04 PM
is there a bald man behind her... if so who might be..??
Ghostfire - 1/29/2013, 4:05 PM
I don't know, seems kinda fake. Could be wrong. But thing's for sure though, Amy Adams > Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, any day of the week!
SupLezz - 1/29/2013, 4:06 PM
seems fake to me.. the chin area looks weird
Superman8 - 1/29/2013, 4:10 PM
Well she has an Ipad in her hands and seems to have media credentials around her neck, so makes sense.

but like everyone else, why make it black and white?

either way, she looks good. i have no problem with her casting whatsoever, and certainly no problem with her hair color. Lois Lane has had red hair in several different comic runs.

She'll do great.
CavEl - 1/29/2013, 4:12 PM
@ Tea - Where are you from? I'm English myself, but I was born in Tottenham, but my family moved to the U.S. at a very young age.
DumbledoreCalrissian - 1/29/2013, 4:13 PM
boring
cbc277 - 1/29/2013, 4:16 PM
You can see in the trailer she is wearing a black vest.

This picture is real.
JustinMSalvato - 1/29/2013, 4:23 PM
Yikes! She's looks like Margot Kidder...

Double yikes! She's using an iPad... gross.

They should have gone with a Microsoft Surface. Seriously.
CavEl - 1/29/2013, 4:24 PM
@ teabag - Really, I dated an Indian girl from Southampton, but I've never been. To be honest, I've never been outside of London. Most of my family lives in Enfield Town.

=D
superotherside - 1/29/2013, 4:30 PM
She's cute. Loved her in Night of the Museum 2 and Enchanted. Can't wait to see her in this movie.
Solitario - 1/29/2013, 4:31 PM
Photo is real. I know the admin page and not think it's a manipulation. Do not you always going to have the exclusive...
OtakuPapi - 1/29/2013, 4:41 PM
Not how i like my Lois but cute
Durf - 1/29/2013, 4:43 PM
@Ghost: agreed bro, I would take her over Bosworth any day of the week
MrAbeFroman - 1/29/2013, 4:45 PM
Yes, it's real. See this set pic:

Superman8 - 1/29/2013, 4:50 PM
MrAbeFroman speaks the truth. hair is identical. good to see their really making this a mordern movie, showing her using an Ipad and what not.

trying to act like journalism is the same it was when Superman was created or even how it was during the Reeve years is just silly.
KeefNCookies - 1/29/2013, 4:52 PM
It's stupid to not even try to have her look the part. It's called acting, not being yourself.
JULEZ13 - 1/29/2013, 4:56 PM
Amy Adamns as Lois Lane? MERP!
ShieldSlinger - 1/29/2013, 4:59 PM
Don't really understand why the [frick] someone would make a fake Lois Lane picture. Who cares? It's not like she has a distinct costume or anything.
Superman8 - 1/29/2013, 5:05 PM
@ KeefNCookies

what exactly is Lois Lane's look?

She doesnt have a real distinct wardrobe, and obviously doesnt wear a suit or costume of any kind.

and as far as her face and hair, she is drawn pretty differently by every artist that takes the job.

and if you're complaining about the hair, she's had red hair in the comics before, maybe not this light, but it has been red.

she'll do fine as Lois Lane.
Superman8 - 1/29/2013, 5:10 PM
All the nit-picking about this movie is really getting ridiculous.

if all you've seen from this movie so far doesnt get you excited for the future of Superman, you're going to be pretty hard to please.
SKetCH - 1/29/2013, 5:12 PM
I call fake.

Her neck lines look WAY off to me.. from thin, to some kinda lift that makes her very broad, down to a slightly larger body...

iPad & media credentials or not, the body is from somethin' else.

Could be lit tho...
KobraKai - 1/29/2013, 5:12 PM
It's official. This is set pic of Amy on the MOS set.

SuperDude001 - 1/29/2013, 5:19 PM
SKetCH @ That's what I'm thinking. She looks rather too broad to me, although like you said it could be the lighting (though just pointing out anyone comparing to set pics as evidence it's real: although it is more likely real after seeing them they could also just be evidence this is a good fake and someone did their research).
SuperSpiderMan5778 - 1/29/2013, 5:20 PM
is she dead?
Niuhll - 1/29/2013, 5:31 PM
I don't think it's real personally. Random blur, black and white and the hair and jaw look off to me.
marvel72 - 1/29/2013, 5:34 PM
she looks alright to me.
Ottimo1 - 1/29/2013, 5:42 PM
That is 100% the real deal, that is our Lois lane from Man of Steel.
ABBALITH - 1/29/2013, 5:52 PM
Her outfit & hair match the photos taken on set here
