I’d been in discussions with McFarlane about doing the statue, and I said, ‘I really want to do something that pushes the envelope.’" Hardcore fans will more than likely notice that this is a slightly different 'Michonne' to the one we're used to seeing in the comic book series. Well, it turns out that there's a perfectly good reason for that! "Fans are definitely going to recognize her and the iconic aspects of that character, but I think there’s a lot of room to push the envelope and make things a bit more heightened, a bit more awesome," Kirkman says. "And this statue is definitely an awesome version of Michonne." The resin statue is approximately 14.5 inches high with a base that rotates 360 degrees. The Walking Dead Michonne statue is part of the McFarlane Toys Collector Club exclusive resin program available only on Store.Spawn.com. Pre-orders will start on February 11, 2013. Each sequentially numbered piece is hand-signed by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and will include a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by Todd McFarlane.
