Okay, so he's filming on 35mm and doing stereoscopic 3D in post–. I hope this means we might get 70mm IMAX as well. He said he was considering it. Can't wait for production stills.

Cool, I liked the first one more than any of Raimi's movies.

@Spidermanfan2010- I wholeheartedly agree. Spidey has so many brilliant stories and characters that he can stand on his own.

Seriously Webb, this time make YOUR OWN Spider-man movie, and not a slight reimagining of a Raimi Spider-man movie.

Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four work better in a universe all their own, everyone else under MARVEL

yep this is gonna go sinister six route, i just hope they put some good thought into the plot, and we should be ok... the only problem is sandman, venom, and ock have already been in movies ... people want NEW stuff

You know, Spider-Man really DOES work better in his own universe. All the reasons we love Spectacular Spider-Man go against all the reasons we hate Ultimate Spider-Man! Even in Spider-Man 1990's, it barely made sense when any other Marvel character was involved. And in EMH, it was just strange seeing an "inferior" Spider-Man. He's always been the underdog and the topdog at the same time, it's completely impossible to match him with any other Marvel hero!

That said, those complaining again, TASM was pretty annoyingly close in some directions, but with a movie that has Electro and Rhino featuring at some point, and Mary Jane in an extremely minor role to be expanded in the next movie, I DOUBT there's really anything to make it similar until the get into the Venom storyline. Which I doubt they will anytime soon.

So are they shooting a scene in a plane, because "Phil the Camera Operator" certainly appears to be sitting in one next to a prepped camera.

@SUPERMAN2013- Iron Man doesn't have the many compelling stories and villains Spider-Man does. Spider-Man's universe is large and full of many villains and characters with complex intertwining backstories. His world is so large it rivals that of the Avengers.

Speak for yourselves. Ultimate Spiderman was great pre and post ultimatum. The new Ultimate Spiderman series is even good.

Tasm was very meh , anybody who thinks it was better then all the raimi movies needs to hit puberty.

I hope mr webb learns from his mistakes from the first one because it did show potential.

@brothers got it right. Non avengers don't need to be in the MCU becasue the avengers sucks up everything. Spiderman is good on his own gives him the attention and money he deserves. Rather have a studio spend money on a A+ director and A+Actors on a single franchise becasue that's possible for one franchise. So all in all just get rid of tolmach

This movie's going to be fantastic! Just like TASM was. Still don't see why people don't like it. It's as silly as someone hating happiness... Oh well, I guess there'll always be haters.

I liked the first one. Garfield was the Spidey Raimi should have had in his films. Just watched the original trilogy again and it was good, but Tobey was terrible. This next film will hopefully be "amazing". I have high hopes for it.
