X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST: Bryan Singer Tweets Photo Of Two VERY Familiar Chairs

X-Men: Days of Future Past begins shooting this April, and director Bryan Singer has now Tweeted an intriguing photo of two very familiar chairs! Hit the jump for the latest tease for the highly anticipated sequel to Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class.

We've already heard plenty about James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier coming face-to-face in time travel epic X-Men: Days of Future Past, but director Bryan Singer has once again teased this aspect of the prequel/sequel in a photo Tweeted from his official account (@BryanSinger) just moments ago. This obviously doesn't reveal an awful lot about the movie, but more teases like this before, during and after production would be very cool indeed!

MARVELPSYCHO79 @ I don't know how they're reviving Stewart's Xavier but not using the floating chair seems like a missed out opportunity. That chair was badass.

Oh yeah I knew about the after credits scene,but I doubt he will just turn up and say ''hey,im not actually dead'' I just wondered how they would handle that in the film lol and with the Wolverine being set after X3,I wonder if at the end he makes the decision to go back to the school once he has been in japan,I just hope they tie this all together,but it seems like a lot the film will be wasted piecing together the original xmen with wolverine,even though this is really a first class sequel

But that's Xavier mind in another person's body, so that person shouldn't be played by Stewart, I wonder how are they going to explain THAT...

BTW kind of off topic but I'm sure the mutant "cure" from Las Stand will end up being just a temporary cure.

You know, nobody really saw Cyclops dying, and for me it looked like Jean wasn't really sure if she killed him or not, so perhaps she just teleported him to a distant place of the world and he's lost somewhere trying to reach back home,.

It's a pretty simple idea on how it "could" work... Magneto and the X-Men of the future have some huge issue that comes up and use time travel to try and fix the mistake. But before they can, they need the smartest man to help them - Xavier, so they warp back a bit to where Stewart is alive and take him along with them further back to tell the younger selves of the problem and how they can fix it before it even begins...

@jimoakley That chair was awesome.I don't think the artists were lazy.Jim Lee was one artist that drew that chair and he's one of the greats.I forgot how his chair floated but I think it was some sci-fi tech.

i hope they have a race,if they don't that would worse than having colossus & juggernaunt in the same movie(x-men 3)& not having them collide.

This picture mean nothing right now and is just another way for Singer to make the news and keep DOFP in the news which I have no problem with.

On the other hand, they almost have to travel forward in time to a time before Stewart's Xavier is dead. I just hope they don't spend half the movie trying to fix previous movies and ruin yet another potentially great film.

It'll be interesting to see old Xavier interacting with young Xavier if that is indeed what this pic should imply about the movie.

Avengers showed you can have the characters look like the characters do in the comics, while also putting a modern touch on the outfits.

No more unified look crap. Give the characters their iconic look Singer.

I like Phoenix, but never liked Rachel Summers Phoenix. Not a fan.

For the most part I liked Patrick Stewart's and James McAvoy's portrayals of Prof X, even if they were nothing like Prof X in the comics.

Forge, Hank Mcoy, Tony Stark, Reed Richards and throw in DR. Strange cause a little magic couldent hurt but,, these guys couldent get together and take 20 minutes out of their lives to make Xavier some sort of cybernetic attached to the spine but just as effective as legs walking device? Thats like a 40 year plot hole right there. These guys can save the galaxy and beat Galactus but they couldent do Chuck a solid and fix his legs? That always annoyed me.
