A Closer Look At The Marvel Select Action Figure For THE WOLVERINE

A video and new images of Diamond's "Marvel Select" action figure for James Mangold's The Wolverine has been released, and both offer up a much closer look at the 7" toy which is based on the likeness of Hugh Jackman. We also see some of the other display options it will include.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

Wolvie's origin + Magneto removing his adamantium were soem of the dumbest stories to happen to the character. I hope bone claws are NOT in the movie. Only reason i could see is b/c of a flashback.

I'm almost positive in the end battle he'll have to wear a samurai armor which will resemble his comics uniform.

I stopped reading comics, altogether, because of Wolverine losing his adamantium. I think, in retrospect, I was at a point where it was time to quit but that was just the push I needed. I have since started re-reading again but the mention of bone claws still makes me salty...

It is from Flashback.Where Logan falls into the pit with bamboo spears and get saved by the Japanese soldier ...just to sword fight with him!

Are you dip-shits not paying [frick]ing attention, or what? We've seen photos from the movie's opening set in World War 2 Nagasaki where Logan has bone claws.

It's not [frick]ing hard to follow. Good grief.

Some of you guys pay no attention to articles posted here whatsoever. Do you not remember the set pics from the movie featuring Logan with bone claws in the atomic-bomb like sequence? There is going to be flashbacks, it takes place post-Last Stand. There you've got it.

I actually liked the Adamantium being removed storyline, mostly because they went with it for a really long time. It was almost like they killed Wolverine and left him dead for years before bringing him back. That takes guts to do to a major character. Especially a fan favorite like Wolverine.

what about the wolverine and alpha flight story. also the japan story went on wile he was in the x men not before he joined also when will they give the x men characters there suits they wear in the comics.
