Marc Webb Tweets First Official Photo Of A Very Different Looking Jamie Foxx As Max Dillon

Highlighting his previously talked about obsession with Spider-Man, the first official image of Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon features the Django Unchained star looking an awful lot different to what we're used to. Check it out!

"What you’ll see is that, for his whole life, no one is talking to him. People have stolen his ideas at the big company. He’s a nobody. At a certain point, Spider-Man bumps into him and says, ‘You’re my guy. You’re my ears and eyes on the street.’ Then he says his name, [Max] and no one has ever said [Max] Dillon’s name. He goes, 'Wow' and, when Spider-Man leaves, he sort of thinks that, 'I am Spider-Man’s partner!' He’s cutting out Spider-Man’s face and pasting it on all his boards..." That's what Jamie Foxx said earlier this year about what we should expect from Max Dillon before his transformation into Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. As you can see from the following image Tweeted today by Marc Webb, the character really does have some sort of obsession with Spidey! This is also a far different look for the actor than we're used to...

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. It would be nice if there was a little shout out to the yellow/green suit..

Maybe during an oscorp hospital scene? A ravencroft institute prison uniform perhaps?

You know this picture makes me think that it's of Max Dillon before he became supercharged a.k.a an electrician. Just by looking at his overall greasy demeanor. This could indicate that they're going for the classic origin as opposed to the Ultimate.

This is one of the first villains we've gotten that ISN'T some crazy college professor or random thug...

I think it will be a great way to take a spider man villain..giving TASM/electro a little bit of "scorned lover" typ of thing..
