WHAT?! That's right, it appears as if Hans Zimmer will be providing the score for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Of course, before we get TOO excited about the Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Trilogy possibly working on the Marc Webb helmed sequel, it could just be that this interviewer made the suggestion to the director and then got his thoughts on the composer. However, it certainly doesn't sound that way! Regardless, we're going to have to wait for the full interview to be 100% sure, but what do you guys think about Zimmer scoring The Amazing Spider-Man 2?

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

STARRING:

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Sally Fields as Aunt May

RELEASE DATE: May 2nd, 2014.
