Michael Fassbender says he doesn't know whether a sequel to Sir Ridley Scott's Prometheus is still moving ahead, confirms that he will shoot Assassin's Creed next year and refuses to give anything away about X-Men: Days of Future Past, but does promise that fans will be happy!

"I don't know," Michael Fassbender responded when asked whether he knows anything about a possible sequel to Prometheus. Back in June, a writer was found (Transcendence's Jack Palgen), but we've heard very little since. As for Ubisoft's planned big screen adaptation of their Assassin's Creed video game franchise, the actor was asked when it will be shooting and said, "It's happening. It'll be next year sometime." Finally, Fassbender was quizzed about his role as 'Magneto' in X-Men: Days of Future Past, adding: "It will be a must-see experience. Is there anything I can reveal? Nope!" an AC film could be great .. but i seem to draw a blank on ANY good films that come from games.

im sure they wont use anything from the game other than the name...

film will probs be about a middle aged black man fighting some sort of illness.

No news on the AC movie. It's still early too. My guess is that they will follow the style of the Prince of Persia movie, where it used elements of the games while having an original story. Perhaps it might even be a spin off that is still connected to the current AC universe/lore.

Jackman recenly stated that new X - Men movie is like 3 movies in one.

Here's hope Singer is not only focusing on previous characters, but new ones as well. Wouldn't wanna see Sy as Bishop in some 10 minutes cameo role.

3 movies in one sounds like they are also focusing on future X - Men team members.

I care a bit about X men DOFP and his portrayal of Magneto was pretty good. Prometheus 2 i hope will be developed some time soon and as for AC...it's a video game adaptation and we all know how films based on video games do.

I hope they do a Prometheus 2. Loved the first one. They left it wide open which is good and bad. Great cinematography, effects, and the score really sounded great with the whole theme of "discovery" in the film. Im not going to talk shit on it, since everyone else does.

My enthusiasm for DOFP has diminished greatly. I want it to be great, but after seeing how The Wolverine acknowledged the nonsense that was X3 and Singer's comments it leaves me a bit pessimistic.

Fass owned X-men FC. Curious how they will use him in DOFP. We still don't even know if Mystique will leading the Washington DC assassination like in the comic. Or maybe it's young Magneto and Mystique??

I actually do think Fassbender is one of the best actors, of his generation, though you'd have to venture away from his CBM/Sci-Fi movies, to see it...
