2015 Just Got Even More Crowded! Duncan Jones' WARCRAFT Gets A Release Date
In a year which will see the release of the likes of The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Batman/Superman and Star Wars Episode VII, Universal and Legendary Pictures have today revealed that Duncan Jones big screen adaptation of World of Warcraft will join them. Hit the jump to find out exactly when!
Moon and Source Code director Duncan Jones' big screen adaptation of the hit video game series will be released on December 18th, 2015 it was announced today. It will be the first film that Universal will release for Legendary Pictures under their new distribution and co-financing partnership. However, this now puts the fate of Star Wars Episode VII in doubt. With the summer already extremely busy, many believed that the J.J. Abrams helmed sequel would instead be released in time for Christmas. However, with Warcraft nabbing such a big date in December, when exactly we will return to a Galaxy Far, Far Away in 2015 is even more up in the air at this point. The movie will still be released that year as far as we know, but it may be a challenge for Disney and Lucasfilm to find the perfect date at this point. What do you guys think?
