Talking about J.K. Rowling's new deal with Warner Bros. to script more movies set in the Harry Potter universe at an entertainment law conference earlier today, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara has also offered an update of sorts about their plans for DC properties. Talking about future franchises, he apparently said that they have, "huge plans for a number of other DC properties on TV." It's interesting that only the small screen is mentioned here, but that could explain why the past few weeks have seen us learn of television shows featuring The Flash, a young Jim Gordon and John Constantine rather than any movie news. However, one very specific hint dropped by Tsujihara was that Warner Bros., "need to get Wonder Woman on the big screen or TV." If the CEO recognises the need to bring this certain character to life in live action, it's clear that they are at least seriously discussing a Wonder Woman TV show or movie. However, there does seem to be a clear focus on the small screen as of right now, so does that mean we can expect the next few years to be nothing other than Batman and Superman? What do you guys think?

Ocelot - 10/5/2013, 4:39 PM
"Big screen" as an ensemble character of course.
SoundWave - 10/5/2013, 4:51 PM
"Amazon" series on CW! With "Arrow" and "Flash" cross-over and for big screen all them in "Justice League" movie!
Inhuman - 10/5/2013, 4:52 PM
Who cares about tv, its all about the big screen. Thats where the $ is. I dont understand how hard it is to make a Wonder Woman movie. All you have to do is take elements from 300, Clash Of The Titans, and Dark Knight and mix it all into one movie. If they are serious about the DCCU, Wonder Woman needs to come out soon
Mothchild - 10/5/2013, 4:52 PM
Just commit to a movie WB. hesitation leads to devastation...
JDUKE25 - 10/5/2013, 4:53 PM
Screw TV. Lose the freakin cold feet WB and commit!
MrMartinMarvel - 10/5/2013, 4:54 PM
OH REALLY?
Omarvls - 10/5/2013, 4:55 PM
We need a bad ass movie
Not a tv show
Inhuman - 10/5/2013, 4:55 PM
Justice League is going to succeed once DC establishes Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman as the leaders of JLA. They need those 3 to exist in same universe and then you take it from there. Batman vs. Superman comes out 2015, they need to make Wonder Woman for that year too because establishing Batman and Wonder Woman will get the ball rolling

2015
Batman Vs. Superman
Wonder Woman

2016
The Flash
Aquaman

This needs to be the formula to have Justice League come out by 2017
TheWolverine08 - 10/5/2013, 4:57 PM
Yeah... seeing how Warner Brothers is moving, we won't be getting a Justice League movie in 2017. Not even close. Lol.
InfiniteMonkey - 10/5/2013, 4:58 PM
Warner Bros...
I'm just going to keep bashing them until they get that woman on the silver screen.
Why? Because of all the millions of dollars they have, they still cannot or will not crack that code that is Wonder Woman.
Probably because there are just way too many dominant males in that studio giving each other the business under the table and all they can think of is Men on Screen. MILLIONS OF DOLLARS! LOL

I have a feeling it's possible that heroes on tv series like Arrow may be connected to heroes in the movies like man of steel and batman vs superman especially they're going to have a new flash series and arrow is going to be a backdoor for that series. They can't have two different iteration of the same hero on both tv and movies at the same time as they know it may confuse some people.
MrCBM56 - 10/5/2013, 5:00 PM
No shit.
Inhuman - 10/5/2013, 5:03 PM
Have Diana be Bruce Wayne's love interest in Batman vs. Superman
Inhuman - 10/5/2013, 5:04 PM
Perfect scenario

2015
Batman Vs. Superman
Wonder Woman

2016
The Flash
Aquaman

2017
Justice League (introduce Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter in this movie)
ALegendaryPanda - 10/5/2013, 5:07 PM
Then [frick]ing do it bitch!
GUNSMITH - 10/5/2013, 5:08 PM
WTF DC WHY AREN'T YOU TAKING HINTS FROM MARVEL?....

IT'S EASY, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR TRYING TO DO A JUSTICE LEAUGE MOVIE:
1) USE A-LIST HEROES IN FILM,

2) EASTER EGGS CINEMATIC AT THE END OF EVERY MOVIE TO LEAD FANS TO THE NEXT BIG THING.

3) END WITH HUGE MOVIE EVERYONE MAKES MONEY EVERYONE IS HAPPY.
MrYurMomm - 10/5/2013, 5:08 PM
Finally!! I wonder how it'll fare with the general audience though. I hope its received like Batman Begins, or even MOS instead of Green Lantern.

Crossing my fingers hoping for the best!
TheWolverine08 - 10/5/2013, 5:11 PM
But I like Wonder Woman and Batman together :(
Timerider84 - 10/5/2013, 5:12 PM
Have Diana show up at the end of Batman vs. Superman, but only as a surprise cameo, perhaps have just one line. Also, they need to keep the movies and TV series separate.
JamesMan - 10/5/2013, 5:13 PM
Yeah DC, do EXACTLY what Marvel Studios did! That's the only way you can be successful. [frick] me, some of you people can't help but think one way is the only way.
JasonBlue - 10/5/2013, 5:13 PM
If they put wonder woman on TV im going to get SO PISSED.

Wonder Woman needs to be on film. If they really want her on TV, they should just make an animated film.
Timerider84 - 10/5/2013, 5:14 PM
They just need to take a chance, make the movie the best they can with someone HELPING Goyer write the screenplay.
JamesMan - 10/5/2013, 5:14 PM
Between the two choices, I would prefer a film of Wonder Woman be made instead of a television show.
Timerider84 - 10/5/2013, 5:15 PM
I don't want a tv series, I want a movie, just like The Flash/
Shadowalker - 10/5/2013, 5:18 PM
About [frick]ing time they thought about this. Geesh, someone took the slow pill by mistake.
JamesMan - 10/5/2013, 5:19 PM
More referring to people demanding a lead-in film be done for every single member of the JL like the Avengers films. I was saying that's not the only way to do it. You could have 3 films (Man of Steel, Man of Steel 2, and Wonder Woman) and then introduce the rest of the team in the Justice League, then flesh out their world's after in their own films.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 10/5/2013, 5:21 PM
Let's see how Superman and Batman do first. If they can't handle those two (who have the easiest chemistry to handle) then they are not ready to have a JL movie. No need for WW then.
JatevinM - 10/5/2013, 5:22 PM
Its about time someone in a position to do something about it started talking about Wonder Woman.

In regards to making her origin in the begining of the movie I would establish the created from clay origin and by the end of the movie reveal that to be a lie and go the new 52 Wonder Woman route with Hera coming to Paradise Island to get revenge on Hippolyta and that sets up for a sequel with Diana getting revenge on Hera for what she did to her mother. The origin switch up provides for alot of good drama and story telling. It also provides us with a way to maintain Wonder Woman in her own world outside of Justice League movies and whenever else she is needed. I would also like to see Wonder Woman and Aquaman be good friends over the course of the movies nothing romantic just good friends who understand each others struggles.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 10/5/2013, 5:24 PM
I agree with Martian.
If there is going to be a relationship it should be between WW and Superman. I am not really for the whole JL relationships to begin with but I think WW and Supes can relate the most.
Pokeysteve - 10/5/2013, 5:24 PM
I have such mixed feelings about this...
GUNSMITH - 10/5/2013, 5:27 PM
SO FAR I SEE DC MAKING BATMAN SUPERMAN..BATMAN AND SUPERMAN..MAYBE ANOTHER BATMAN AND A SUPERMAN SEQUEL...A BUNCH OF TV SHOWS..WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? PUT THE TV SHOW PEOPLE IN A JUSTICE LEAUGE FILM? DIFFERENT IS BETTER ONLY WORKS IN AN ARBY'S COMMERCIAL AND THEIR BURGERS ARE SOMETIMES PLAIN.
MrCBM56 - 10/5/2013, 5:28 PM
MAC

Stop making sense!!
Oxbow - 10/5/2013, 5:28 PM
I love the way WW is being written now, and also the ideas that Grant Morrison has for Earth-1 WW. I hope they get somebody else to write her though. There was a serious lack of characterization and dramatization in the Man of Steel script. If I wasn't a big Superman fan, I wouldn't have cared at all about what happened to him, or Pa Kent or any of the other primaries in the film.
