This guy can totally be Sunfire.
TonyChu - 10/15/2013, 6:17 PM
But wait Marvel don't have the rights to the Xmen or any of their mutant properties.
beeaey - 10/15/2013, 6:18 PM
is that sunfire? shiro yoshida?
Mmasoldier - 10/15/2013, 6:18 PM
Shang chi
beeaey - 10/15/2013, 6:19 PM
@tony exactly what i was thinking
JordanKing - 10/15/2013, 6:22 PM
Oooor it could just be some new guy with powers. Maybe that?
Superior - 10/15/2013, 6:23 PM
Or it could be another guy with Extremis, but hopefully not.
JoJo1982 - 10/15/2013, 6:23 PM
Iron Fist???
Superior - 10/15/2013, 6:24 PM
Regardless, this episode looks great and so far this series has been great.
CaptainHulk3 - 10/15/2013, 6:29 PM
Whats the odds its the Ironfist??? I say 40%?!?
BruceWayneNewton - 10/15/2013, 6:29 PM
Next week's episode looks pretty sweet. I am starting to like Grant. I think he could have been a front runner for a big CBM. If we didn't already have a perfect Superman, I'd throw him in a fancast
DarkArts - 10/15/2013, 6:37 PM
When a show is great you can't wait to see the next one. AOS was so generic, typical, and unsatisfying I forgot about it after the Pilot until I saw this article.

So I checked the ratings to see if others who gave it a try were disinterested in more AOS and sure enough in just 3 episodes the show went 12.12 to 8.66 to 7.87. So if it follows that path that means they will have lost 1/2 the audience in just one month.

The show just doesn't have it. I have to wonder what number it will level off at.
BasedThanos - 10/15/2013, 6:42 PM
People seriously think that guys iron fist??? I sure as [frick] hope not. From what we've seen already of the show he is just some random guy with powers.
BasedThanos - 10/15/2013, 6:50 PM
And he doesn't even have the same powers as Iron Fist, soooo...
JorL5150 - 10/15/2013, 6:52 PM
Zzzzzzz
TheLetter10 - 10/15/2013, 6:53 PM
@batz11

Wrong, they cannot use Mutants, anyone tied to Fantastic Four, or Spidey. Everything else is free game. Heck, even during the interviews when the first show aired they even said this...
Minato - 10/15/2013, 7:00 PM
Iron Fist is Caucasian and a chi master not likely to loose his cool.
MightyZeus - 10/15/2013, 7:04 PM
It could be Shang-Chi
JoJo1982 - 10/15/2013, 7:09 PM
@Batz

As far as Live action characters, Fox Studios owns every mutant and anything X-men related, the same with Fantastic Four.

Sony got Spidey
BatmanRobinNightwing - 10/15/2013, 7:12 PM
Is that skye bitch dead yet.
Havenless - 10/15/2013, 7:13 PM
they're giving him something for his power. Most likely an extremis 'alternative'
Luigi - 10/15/2013, 7:14 PM
It's not Iron Fist. You guys are setting yourselves up for disappointment if you assume a major character from the comics is going to be in each episode.

@Jojo are you sure it's separated by live-action and animation? Because asides from Wolverine vs. The Hulk none of the Fox characters have been in any animated Marvel films but they appear all the time in there shows.
Havenless - 10/15/2013, 7:15 PM
@Jojo

Except for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, they're joint ownership between Fox and Marvel. Hence why Quicksilver will be showing up in both franchises.

And Fox did NOT get Namor, which is a FF villain originally. He apparently belongs to Universal.
Havenless - 10/15/2013, 7:17 PM
@Luigi

That's just because Marvel doesn't make very many animated movies. They can use whoever they want, the deal is isolated to live action and references to the live action (an animated show where he's meant to look like Hugh Jackman, etc)
JoJo1982 - 10/15/2013, 7:23 PM
@havenless

right...forgot those guys but we saw how much Hell it was for Marvel Studios to even use their own characters!!!
2013venjix - 10/15/2013, 7:24 PM
Sunfire?
TheBaroness89 - 10/15/2013, 7:33 PM
fire fist!
TheRealRemyLebeau - 10/15/2013, 7:40 PM
And here we go again about the ratings. @ darkarts did toying compare those ratings with the competition hmmmmmm. Context!!!! It's either #1 or #2 in its time slot. Stop it.
ManCalledSting - 10/15/2013, 7:54 PM
Meh, this show isn't for me. Too much lighthearted Disneyness to it.
JoJo1982 - 10/15/2013, 7:56 PM
@2013

Fox Studios got him
EpitomeofAwesome - 10/15/2013, 8:01 PM
This promo got me freakin excited!!!
EpitomeofAwesome - 10/15/2013, 8:01 PM
This promo got me [frick]in excited!!!!!
EpitomeofAwesome - 10/15/2013, 8:06 PM
@OldGreg
In this episode, we saw a man get his hand cut off, (literally saw it), and someone taking another person's eye out of their socket. That doesn't seem like typical "Disneyness" to me.
TheBaroness89 - 10/15/2013, 8:12 PM
maybe he is the real mandarin :)
Dustellar - 10/15/2013, 8:37 PM
Is Dragonfire (Zaoxing)

specialkail - 10/15/2013, 8:41 PM
This was the first episode i watched that made me genuinely interested in seeing the next.

looks like theyre giving that guy the ol' superhuman growth hormone, the one that damage control gave to nitro, when he caused the civil war.
JoJo1982 - 10/15/2013, 8:43 PM
@Dustella

I just looked up this Dragonfire guy and I think your right!!!
ricko8687 - 10/15/2013, 8:58 PM
Good episode improving weekly I do like the international feel of it
BANE5000 - 10/15/2013, 9:31 PM
@TonyChu
@batz11

Actually Marvel still has the rights to all their characters when it comes to tv/animation shows, they just sold the films rights to other companies.

So that could be Sunfire for sure, may be our only chance to see anyone from the X-Men Universe in the MCU :]
CharlesLord - 10/15/2013, 9:52 PM
yea marvel has animation rights but im def not sure about tv rights....interesting.
