THE WALKING DEAD's Midseason Finale Draws 12.1 Million Viewers
The Walking Dead's midseason finale ended in an explosive fashion last night, so it should come as no surprise to learn that the final episode in the first half of season four ended sailed off into the zombie apocalypse with an impressive 12.1 million viewers!
Despite veering off drastically from the comics in many respects (Rick's never losing that hand of his, is he?), last night's midseason finale of The Walking Dead was a pretty damn good 45 minutes of television! According to Deadline, the episode saw 12.1 million total viewers tune in to see The Governor attack the prison, a midseason finale record for the AMC series as it's a huge increase from 2012's 10.5 million. Overall, The Walking Dead has been up 29% in the first half of its fourth season over the first half of season three. It will return on February 9th, 2014.
