Earlier this year, it was revealed that Fox are moving ahead with an X-Force movie written and directed by Kick-Ass 2 helmer Jeff Wadlow. Rob Liefeld - who created the original incarnation of the team with Fabian Nicieza - has now taken to his Twitter account to praise the filmmaker's take on the characters. Over the years, everyone from Wolverine to Cable and Deadpool have been on the team, but it remains to be seen who makes it into the movie! What do you guys think?

Its like all anyone does in the comments anymore is just bitch about stuff rather than being happy that we are in an age where an X-Force movie is being discussed by movie executives.
ATrueHero1987 - 12/3/2013, 6:43 PM
Haven't heard anything about this movie for a hot minute...
Jollem - 12/3/2013, 6:44 PM
wouldn't mind if they went right on ahead and made an x-factor and excalibur movie as well
ALegendaryPanda - 12/3/2013, 6:46 PM
I really want to this movie to happen, like now.
MrCBM56 - 12/3/2013, 6:46 PM
I need to know who's on the team before anything.

I want to get excited about this, especially if its a fresh start from brian singers crap X-men.

Still wont get my hopes up to much if they are just translating over the style of the x-men movies over.
First Class Exception.

Sorry Rob, don't believe ya.

Remember when Mark Millar called Jeff Wadlow's take on Kick-Ass 2 a masterpiece?

Anyway I'm excited for this film because of Cable and Deadpool... For some reason I'm thinking of Ron Perlman as Cable :P

However I am already sensing that Wolverine will as usual, headline the film. Simon Kinberg's comments about making Wolverine the lead of DOFP pretty much says it all.

I hope this happens soon. I'm good with Cable, Deadpool, Psylocke, domino, fantomex, and forge. I think with these characters it allows for spin-offs and or collaborated story lines and movies. This is a grittier and more violent bunch. That being said I hope this strays away the x-men and fantastic 4 tone. Less CGI, more combat, and hopefully a better background and character development to allow for spin-offs etc.

Eh I'll reserve my judgement when i watch the film in theatres thank you.
hahafunny - 12/3/2013, 6:59 PM
I'm okay with holding back X-23 and other another popular character for the second movie (wishful thinking) to avoid overload in the first and bring more intrigue and diversity to the next one. To keep coming back for more ya know
TheOneAboveAll - 12/3/2013, 7:00 PM
I just wanna see X-23 kick some ass with Deadpool 4th wall quipping
actionmoviefanatix - 12/3/2013, 7:02 PM Liefeld would know a good script if he saw it
TheNerdArk - 12/3/2013, 7:06 PM

Jollem - 12/3/2013, 7:07 PM

HavocPrime - 12/3/2013, 7:10 PM
Who actually believes Liefeld anymore? He has Lie is his name for a reason, should have temper tantrum as well tbh.
WruceBayne - 12/3/2013, 7:15 PM
I'll wait until I see this movie before I judge it.
Jackraow21 - 12/3/2013, 7:28 PM
He said in another tweet that Cable and Deadpool are both in it. So I am pumped.
Jollem - 12/3/2013, 7:31 PM
@WruceBayne - that's very brave and noble of you, good sir
ALmazing - 12/3/2013, 7:32 PM
Psylocke was killed by the Phoenix in X3, but then again the X men movie time line is really f'd up so its not liek it matters.
