Earlier this year, it was revealed that Fox are moving ahead with an X-Force movie written and directed by Kick-Ass 2 helmer Jeff Wadlow. Rob Liefeld - who created the original incarnation of the team with Fabian Nicieza - has now taken to his Twitter account to praise the filmmaker's take on the characters. Over the years, everyone from Wolverine to Cable and Deadpool have been on the team, but it remains to be seen who makes it into the movie! What do you guys think?

Its like all anyone does in the comments anymore is just bitch about stuff rather than being happy that we are in an age where an X-Force movie is being discussed by movie executives.
ATrueHero1987 - 12/3/2013, 6:43 PM
Haven't heard anything about this movie for a hot minute...
Jollem - 12/3/2013, 6:44 PM
wouldn't mind if they went right on ahead and made an x-factor and excalibur movie as well
ALegendaryPanda - 12/3/2013, 6:46 PM
I really want to this movie to happen, like now.
MrCBM56 - 12/3/2013, 6:46 PM
I need to know who's on the team before anything.
HR - 12/3/2013, 6:48 PM
I want to get excited about this, especially if its a fresh start from brian singers crap X-men.

Still wont get my hopes up to much if they are just translating over the style of the x-men movies over.
First Class Exception.
Tyrus - 12/3/2013, 6:53 PM
Sorry Rob, don't believe ya.

Remember when Mark Millar called Jeff Wadlow's take on Kick-Ass 2 a masterpiece?

Anyway I'm excited for this film because of Cable and Deadpool... For some reason I'm thinking of Ron Perlman as Cable :P

However I am already sensing that Wolverine will as usual, headline the film. Simon Kinberg's comments about making Wolverine the lead of DOFP pretty much says it all.

I hope this happens soon. I'm good with Cable, Deadpool, Psylocke, domino, fantomex, and forge. I think with these characters it allows for spin-offs and or collaborated story lines and movies. This is a grittier and more violent bunch. That being said I hope this strays away the x-men and fantastic 4 tone. Less CGI, more combat, and hopefully a better background and character development to allow for spin-offs etc.
McNyagano - 12/3/2013, 6:59 PM
Eh I'll reserve my judgement when i watch the film in theatres thank you.
hahafunny - 12/3/2013, 6:59 PM
I'm okay with holding back X-23 and other another popular character for the second movie (wishful thinking) to avoid overload in the first and bring more intrigue and diversity to the next one. To keep coming back for more ya know
TheOneAboveAll - 12/3/2013, 7:00 PM
I just wanna see X-23 kick some ass with Deadpool 4th wall quipping
actionmoviefanatix - 12/3/2013, 7:02 PM
...like Liefeld would know a good script if he saw it
TheNerdArk - 12/3/2013, 7:06 PM
Sooo this is pretty much gonna be another wolverine move.
Jollem - 12/3/2013, 7:07 PM
kick-ass 2 kicked ass
HavocPrime - 12/3/2013, 7:10 PM
Who actually believes Liefeld anymore? He has Lie is his name for a reason, should have temper tantrum as well tbh.
WruceBayne - 12/3/2013, 7:15 PM
I'll wait until I see this movie before I judge it.
Jackraow21 - 12/3/2013, 7:28 PM
He said in another tweet that Cable and Deadpool are both in it. So I am pumped.
Jollem - 12/3/2013, 7:31 PM
@WruceBayne - that's very brave and noble of you, good sir
ALmight - 12/3/2013, 7:32 PM
Psylocke was killed by the Phoenix in X3, but then again the X men movie time line is really f'd up so its not liek it matters.

@SlaveMasterFlexXx-Ryan Reynolds should stay away from CBMs at this point, everything the guy touches turns to crap.
Jackraow21 - 12/3/2013, 7:32 PM
He said that "there are at least 4 sequences where fans of X-Force, Cable and Deadpool will scream in absolute delight." Also that it's possible we'll see X-Force and a Deadpool standalone film released within six months of each other.

Whoo!!!
Jackraow21 - 12/3/2013, 7:33 PM
Cable (confirmed), Deadpool (confirmed) and Psylocke (heavily hinted)...who else?
CapFan79 - 12/3/2013, 7:39 PM
A few bad drawings and you guys shit on him. Pfft
HAILHYDRA - 12/3/2013, 7:53 PM
Didn't Psylocke already appear in X-Men 3? Oh yeah, it's Fox and they don't care about continuity as long as their story is how they like it. If this had absolutely no connection to any other X-Men movie I would be SOOOOOOO excited. I'm excited nonetheless.
HAILHYDRA - 12/3/2013, 7:54 PM
@slavemasterflexxx, So DC has been jacking it for the last 30 years?
ninjacarm - 12/3/2013, 7:54 PM
Why does everyone hate Liefeld? I met him about ten years ago I cut in this huge line at a Con I had no idea about lines and shit. He goes "You're not going to hurt me are you?"
HAILHYDRA - 12/3/2013, 7:56 PM
I hope they use Psylocke but I was really hoping to see Domino too.
starblazed - 12/3/2013, 8:07 PM
I think there's only one way to make this movie work - Wolverine leaves X-MEN and starts/joins X-FORCE.
Then you have future X-MEN movies free to focus on other characters and not be all about Wolverine. Throw in Deadpool and a legitimate reason for Wolverine to wear his costume - and you've got a gold mine that everyone will wanna see - and not just some lame spin off.
l0rdleg0las - 12/3/2013, 8:17 PM
Yay! Another Wolverine and his mutant buddies movie.
CaptainObvious - 12/3/2013, 8:27 PM
@ninjacarm- Because he is an awful artist and an even worse storyteller.

From what I heard though, he is a nice guy in person and is really enthusiastic about the comics medium. To his credit, he did help create Image and pushed for more independent comics.
LittleDanglyThing - 12/3/2013, 8:41 PM
X-23 better be in it. I love that personality devoid killing machine.
If its not rated R I'm just not even
Ryuk1988 - 12/3/2013, 9:08 PM
I want cyclops psylocke gambit(or cable) deadpool and domino(or some other girl) on the team im a huge fan of the Wolverine but please don't put him in the movie
Gnyah123 - 12/3/2013, 9:14 PM
i still want a deadpool SOLO over this stuff
and IF wolverine is in fact in this movie then it will suck
it the main focus is on him AGAIN
but IF this movie happens...im sure the deadpool movie will happen after since it basically somewhat has a green light
shangho - 12/3/2013, 9:26 PM
PLEEEEASE include Archangel! He would look SICK!Looking forward to Cable for sure!
