X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST's Apocalyptic After-Credits Scene Revealed?

Well, I think it's fair to say that no one will have seen this X-Men: Days of Future Past ending coming! The mid-credits scene for that movie has apparently been unearthed, and as you might expect, it leads straight into X-Men: Apocalypse! [WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD]

First Showing have it on pretty reliable authority that the X-Men: Days of Future Past after-credits scene will lead directly into X-Men: Apocalypse. However, before any of you cry, "Well, Duh!" they have an awful lot more information than just that! The site claims to have heard the following from two sources, one of whom actually sent them a recent draft of the script, thereby revealing exactly how we're introduced to the titular villain of the sequel at the close of the movie.

"The credits bumper jumps back to the past with a young Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) in a ramshackle house in the desert eating dinner, clearly on the run from all the authorities who want to bring him down. While using a well outside to get some water, the young Magneto sees something fall from the night sky and crash to Earth nearby. Upon inspecting the impact zone, he encounters what is described as an "alien form" who is "towering, terrifying, with a twisted metal face and dark pits for eyes." It's Apocalypse and he says, "I have crossed rivers of time to find you." Magneto asks, "Who are you?"

The alien responds, "I am your future." Suddenly Apocalypse merges with Magneto, who screams and blasts an insane amount of energy and shockwaves around him. This energy explosion levels everything around him, with a blast radius that goes for miles. As Magneto looks at what he's done, he has a realization of the power he now holds and a villainous grin begins to form before the film cuts to black."

Well, that's pretty different to the comic books to say the least! It's an interesting idea though, although it would be extremely disappointing if this is the only glimpse of the true Apocalypse that we get. On the other hand, it's undoubtedly the kind of role that Michael Fassbender would absolutely nail! How do you guys feel about this news? Sound off below!

Didn't read, so I won't get spoiled just in case it is real. Is the mid credits scene great or what?
JatevinM - 12/6/2013, 12:32 PM
Please dont let this be true.
cdpacheco89 - 12/6/2013, 12:34 PM
first! I dunno if this is real or if it has anything to do with the real apocalypse storyline so Im going to hold my outrage/glee depending on further ivestigation
cdpacheco89 - 12/6/2013, 12:34 PM
poop, thought i had it
LucasMend - 12/6/2013, 12:35 PM
The way Fox and Singer are I don't doubt it. Seems awful and lazy.
Josh3235 - 12/6/2013, 12:36 PM
looks fake
JoeMomma29 - 12/6/2013, 12:37 PM
Nawwwwwww I call B.S.! I does not suck enough!
KingPatel - 12/6/2013, 12:38 PM
Sounds awesome, but it also seems kind of Smallville-ish as Darkseid did something similar, I hope we get the real Apocalypse in the finale.
JoeMomma29 - 12/6/2013, 12:38 PM
I will call it now 5 pages at least!
Poolio - 12/6/2013, 12:39 PM
He better not actually be an alien though
driver - 12/6/2013, 12:40 PM
Guy who came up with this shit (whatever true or fake) deserves a POOOPSHOT!
charlie2094 - 12/6/2013, 12:40 PM
Well that's certainly...different, not quite sure if they'd really do that, I mean, Magneto would essentially be the villain again? Not sure, don't see this being true...
GoldenOne33 - 12/6/2013, 12:41 PM
That better not happen, Apocalypse is an actual person not spirit. We nust see him for him self.

He should not merge with anyone.
SpiderParker - 12/6/2013, 12:41 PM
It better be a false report.
ezio619 - 12/6/2013, 12:42 PM
firstshowing is a pretty relaible website and i kind of see bryan inger doind something like this
GoldenOne33 - 12/6/2013, 12:43 PM
Is Singer embarrased on how Apocalypse looks or Something? it would be cool if Apocalypse controlled Magneto.

Like a Thanos/Loki thing.
ezio619 - 12/6/2013, 12:46 PM
though since apocalypse might have dialogue, who is voicing him?
nailbiter111 - 12/6/2013, 12:46 PM
that sounds terrible.
MrCBM56 - 12/6/2013, 12:46 PM
So is Apocalypse the villain or Magneto? I hope this isn't real. Still excited for DOFP!
JoeMomma29 - 12/6/2013, 12:46 PM
@ GoldenOne

I agree Aplocalypse needs to be strong villain who who does not give two crap about either side but is only concerned with his own agenda etc.....
redrobin1986 - 12/6/2013, 12:47 PM
I dont buy this story one bit... i just hope they dont screw him up like they did to Jean & the Phoenix
nailbiter111 - 12/6/2013, 12:47 PM
basically they figured out a way to have Apocalypse in the film, but quickly remove him so that fox can give michael fassbender more screen time and a juicier role. pathetic.
ATrueHero1987 - 12/6/2013, 12:49 PM
Not worrying about this but i hope this isn't true.
AgentEX - 12/6/2013, 12:49 PM
Semi hoping this is true minus the merging part. Maybe that's an error and he makes Mags one of his horsemen? Shit. That'd rule.
FlyingSeel - 12/6/2013, 12:50 PM
This sounds like a middle schooler wrote it.
JoeMomma29 - 12/6/2013, 12:51 PM
@ Nailbiter

Yes the easy way out, sort of like the Galactus Fart Cloud!
knocturnal - 12/6/2013, 12:52 PM
Sounds like shit so I believe it since it's Singer and fox
AgentEX - 12/6/2013, 12:52 PM
Also, it isn't like this hasn't happened in the comics. At one point Apocalypse even possessed Cyclops.
SuperCat - 12/6/2013, 12:53 PM
GoldenOne33 - 12/6/2013, 12:53 PM
I'm liking all the X-men news, but Bryan please don't let this happen.

Please. Just Make Apocalypse lead Magneto on with false

promises and then break him in two.
JoeMomma29 - 12/6/2013, 12:53 PM
Okay if this is true, they are butchering one of the most important villains in the X Men Universe. I want some fort of origin story based out of Egypt etc......

I hate you Singer if this is true!!!!!!!
JatevinM - 12/6/2013, 12:53 PM
I'll be glad when the X-men movies starts to focus on some of the characters who physically dont blend in and their mutations are partially physical.
SmellofDuty - 12/6/2013, 12:53 PM
That would be ridiculously idiotic to do. Not a fan of the senario. Hope it's false.
ABH1979 - 12/6/2013, 12:54 PM
It sounded pretty good, until "Apocalypse merges with Magneto" -- No, do not want.
TheBeard - 12/6/2013, 12:54 PM
If that is actually real, the person who thought it up should be drowned in a toilet after someone lets rip some terrible Diarrhea without flushing.
GoldenOne33 - 12/6/2013, 12:54 PM
And Apocalpyse kills everybody.
TopCat89 - 12/6/2013, 12:55 PM
Galactus cloud all over again!

I hope this isn't true, i've wanted to see 'Apocalypse' on screen for a very long time...but not likes this....i want this, as i'm sure many other fans do!

SpiderParker - 12/6/2013, 12:56 PM
Basically Fox wanted a Thanos type villain who is a alien but has connections with Magneto. For Fox, everything revolves around Magneto and Wolverine.
GoldenOne33 - 12/6/2013, 12:57 PM
I don't think Bryan is going to do this. Where's is Mark

Millar when you need him! Jeez!!!
AlexanderLykins - 12/6/2013, 12:57 PM
Thanos is still alone baby! That is all!
