Michael B. Jordan Again Addresses STAR WARS EPISODE VII And THE FANTASTIC FOUR Rumors Michael B. Jordan Again Addresses STAR WARS EPISODE VII And THE FANTASTIC FOUR Rumors

Perhaps in fear of saying too much as Saoirse Ronan did and thereby losing out on a role in Star Wars Episode VII, the Chronicle star won't confirm or deny his involvement with that project, but does reveal how he feels to be connected to both that and The Fantastic Four!

Michael B. Jordan is all but confirmed for the role of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in The Fantastic Four, but that's not the only major franchise that the Chronicle star has recently been rumoured to be involved with. "With 'Star Wars' and all these other franchises, Fantastic Four and stuff like that, it's good to be in the mix of those conversations. You know, it wasn't like that before, so it's kind of cool to be in those conversations right now." However, clearly wary that he'll end up in as much trouble as Saoirse Ronan - who seemingly lost out on a role in Star Wars Episode VII because she said a little too much about her audition - he quickly added, "You trying to get me in trouble?" While this is far from an admission that he's landed a role in the J.J. Abrams helmed sequel, but he did go on to discuss his upcoming training regime just in case he does land a part in any major franchises! ""I'm actually just starting to get back in shape," he said. "I get back to LA, see my nutritionist, start training, eating right, getting my body right… so just in case any films, any roles come up in the future that I might need to be in shape for - I'll be in shape." Which of these movies would you most like to see Jordan in?

Funny how people come down on the possibility of there being a Black Human Torch, but when they hear Russell Crow is playing Noah, they will be the first ones to buy a ticket.

I don't seem them choosing him they need the FF/ X-men films to do well throwing in a lot of changes doesn't really make their license anymore stable. I just wont watch the movie. Got to tell the movie industry that screwing with characters like this is isn't cool anymore.

I think it's a weird casting choice for Johnny storm, but really I couldn't care less about the character of johnny storm or the fantastic four so it doesn't bother me at all.

I don't see the fascination with this dude. At best, he would do well in a Twilight film. At worst, he could be completely miscast as Johnny Storm.

The FF are near and dear to my heart ( & tattooed on my body). I want to see them as they appear on the page. Best of luck with your budding career Jordan, but I can't see you as my Johnny.

Break down the barriers of race and gender!

Idris Elba for Wonder Woman!

Jennifer Lawrence for Black Panther!

Danny DeVito for Storm!

Got no issues if he's cast as Johnny Storm. I haven't seen him in any movies so I can't comment on his acting ability. Although I'm of the school that believed Matt Damon's comment on Batfleck, "it's not Hamlet". I have no problem if they cast a black Johnny, as it does not change anything important in his character. Although if they go this way I would hope that they cast a black Sue Storm, as opposed to making them adoptive siblings. It would complicate the story to have to explain it.

Regardless if he is cast as Johnny Storm or not, if Trank goes for a young 20-30 something-version of the Fantastic Four then I will not be seeing the movie. I just want the whole thing to go back to Marvel. They would handle the team with so much care.

I mean as much as I like "Chronicle", I just can't get behind a second go-around of "F4" without it being a Marvel property because I feel things aren't going to change from what Tim Story did.

OmegadaGOD, Better question would be how is his character in Chronical a Dbag? I thought the character was really nice actually. As a jock he was very nice to everyone even made fast friends with the other two less popular kids.
