Nice can't wait
Jollem - 1/1/2014, 5:33 PM
new suit is still ugly. they made the avengers suit look not as wonky
Grimfoe - 1/1/2014, 5:35 PM
Okay, the art is pretty cool. Sling shot close line, though? Really?
Jollem - 1/1/2014, 5:38 PM
cap is kinda taking after spidey :)
jerryblake - 1/1/2014, 5:38 PM
new suit is better than the Avengers one, for sure.
The problem is it looks too soft, and not so protective at all. The helmet won't help you once you get stabbed in the heart, you know.
Namor - 1/1/2014, 5:39 PM
How they gonna fit Batroc into this movie, i wonder?
SuperPickle - 1/1/2014, 5:40 PM
I'll have to disagree. That artwork is awful. Depending on the intended audience. Might work for a little comic book accompanying a toy.
Jollem - 1/1/2014, 5:41 PM
@Namor - that's a good question. i can't believe how much of a cluttered mess this is going to be!
HotRodFan899 - 1/1/2014, 5:45 PM
What's wrong with Cap's face on that cover? And the interior? Grummet's lost some of his mojo. He was always my favorite Superman artist as a kid. But I didn't realize it was his art until I read the credits under the preview.

I hate that Cap's not wearing the red, white, and blue and that it looks like at some point they chip the paint off his shield. Everyone brings up the suit Steve Rogers wore after "Siege" when he took over as the new Shield leader. But, he wasn't Captain American when he wore that suit. Bucky was still Cap and so Steve didn't wear the Cap uniform. So it's not really fair to defend the film for using that as his Cap uniform when he never wore that uniform as Captain America.
jerryblake - 1/1/2014, 5:45 PM

HotRodFan899 - 1/1/2014, 5:47 PM

I wouldn't say that. The Avengers uniform translates pretty well to comic form (even though Grummet's art disappoints me here because I've seen better from him), a lot better than the one they're using in "Winter Soldier." The Winter Soldier Cap uniform is too fluffy looking, and doesn't look good. It looks almost like it belongs in the 40's, like the "First Avenger" outfit, which that costume got a pass because he wore that outfit IN the 40's.
Jollem - 1/1/2014, 5:48 PM
lol, trudy booty
HotRodFan899 - 1/1/2014, 5:49 PM

Yeah, that really doesn't help. Look how fluffy it looks. It's so poofy in the shoulders that Chris Evans looks like he's got a tiny head.
jcfrommars9 - 1/1/2014, 5:50 PM

From what I've seen of The Winter Soldier, stabbing Captain America in the heart, armor or no armor will work as well as Bruce Banner's attempted suicide.
rorywilliams - 1/1/2014, 5:51 PM
Seeing them both side by site hammers home how much more I prefer the Winter Soldier look than the ugly Avengers one. Ironically the Avengers suit does look better here, which sort of confirms my belief that some designs simply look better in comics than live-action.
tricklove187 - 1/1/2014, 5:53 PM
Nice cover but I'm not crazy about the interiors. Now I know I don't need to buy it.
jerryblake - 1/1/2014, 5:54 PM

i like the desgin ... really.
The colours are good too.

There is something wrong about the material.
It looks like it could be easily mutilated.
I'm not sure.

For a bunch of adults, patience has certainly not become a virtue amongst most of you.

DEVLIN712 - 1/1/2014, 6:01 PM
For most of us, impatience is a virtue
Kurne - 1/1/2014, 6:01 PM
Poor Jollem. Don't worry, those MoS 2 set pics should hit the web in about a month and they should keep you occupied to wank off to for about most of the year.
Space - 1/1/2014, 6:02 PM
Besides the cover, this looks good.
Sores - 1/1/2014, 6:03 PM
I love it.
soforizo - 1/1/2014, 6:03 PM
Red, white and blue looks better.
quas666 - 1/1/2014, 6:09 PM
Shitty art
Starkasm - 1/1/2014, 6:09 PM
LOL Kurne.
Jollem - 1/1/2014, 6:10 PM
@Kurne - what'd you do?
FlixMentallo21 - 1/1/2014, 6:12 PM
Mark Bagley and Tom Grummett, two of my favorite artists! Not bad!
MrCBM - 1/1/2014, 6:16 PM
Will we find out where hawkeye is?
Maestro - 1/1/2014, 6:18 PM
suit is great. Definitely much better than the one in the avengers.
marvel72 - 1/1/2014, 6:18 PM
the suit is miles better than the one he wore in the avengers.
Tdi7457 - 1/1/2014, 6:19 PM
Black Widow doesn't seem happy with Cap's dangerous stunts.
marvel72 - 1/1/2014, 6:19 PM
@ maestro

great minds think alike.
Maestro - 1/1/2014, 6:21 PM
also, the art is bad.
