When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, Justice League: War features the voices of Jason O’Mara (Vegas, Terra Nova), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory, Serenity, Firefly), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), Sean Astin (LOTR films), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness) and Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Producer is James Tucker and director is Jay Oliva from a script by Heath Corson.

Wait, if you are referring to when I said this is straight out the New 52, I meant just this scene. Not the whole movie.

Batman can be a d@ck sometimes.
GURILLAPUD - 1/5/2014, 4:01 PM
I was a huge batman fan, but he just every where now. He really irritates me like how everyone hates wolverine now. I guess DC gets a pass.
ds9epicfan - 1/5/2014, 4:02 PM
This looks good.
Splenda - 1/5/2014, 4:06 PM
Batman's having his day…so is IM. just like Spidey and Logan had their days. its normal for these characters
Vaportrail - 1/5/2014, 4:07 PM
I'm really quite disappointed they didn't try to mimic the art style of the original comic.

Now it just looks like every other animated film out there. C'mon, DC. You're the best at this. Be bold.

I can't wait. I like that extra chin part of the cowl. Batfleck should have it too cuz his front butt is quite noticable.
Klone - 1/5/2014, 4:16 PM
@0mega

"Batman pwns the whole phuckin league"

That translates into my mind as bad writing.
SnapperCarr - 1/5/2014, 4:18 PM
Lol. Hopefully they don't include the "Who the hell is Bruce Wayne scene".
tricklove187 - 1/5/2014, 4:21 PM
Hopefully WB/DC adapts The Night of the Owls arc for the next animated movie.
jlabatman - 1/5/2014, 4:26 PM
Shit looks good!
MBZ1993 - 1/5/2014, 4:27 PM
my favorite part of the story
ekrolo2 - 1/5/2014, 4:31 PM
@Vaportrail

Yeah try and adapt Jim Lees art style into an animated movie and keeping all that detail in there. It would be a nightmare to try and pull that off. Personally I like how the film looks as it is.
JoJo1982 - 1/5/2014, 4:41 PM
Can't wait!!!

DC animation doesn't disappoint
PunPun - 1/5/2014, 4:51 PM
Give Batman even 30 seconds of prep and he butt[frick]s the whole Justice League. Just accept it trolls.
AquamanIsTheBest - 1/5/2014, 4:55 PM
Right out of the comic! This reminds me...there's another scene that woulda been cool to have been taken right from the comic...oh yeah! I remember!

superbigguy32 - 1/5/2014, 4:56 PM

ALmazing - 1/5/2014, 5:03 PM
Bats and Green Lanterns just can't get along.

billnye69 - 1/5/2014, 5:04 PM
The animation looks great. I hope Marvel is taking notes.
JillyMcBeam - 1/5/2014, 5:07 PM
Doesn't Supes come in a beat their asses? I distinctively remember something about Supes handing it to Flash, Bats, and GL.
batman1216 - 1/5/2014, 5:18 PM
I would just like to state that Batman is the an icon and has some of the greatest comic stories, movies and animated series the genre ever had to offer. I love Wolverine and I do not like the hate that character gets either, but comparing Batman to Wolverine is ridiculous. As an icon the character is far beyond the term overexposure, especially since quality movies, animation, video games and comics are still being produced and not just being milked for his popularity. I am all for other characters getting their time to shine, especially the underutilized DC roster, but to this day Batman has some of the best comics on the market and a wealth of stories that I as a fan would love to see get adapted, so to the people crying that they are sick of Batman, please [frick] off.
InfiniteMonkey - 1/5/2014, 5:28 PM
Batman Green would kick everyone's ass.
Can't wait to see this.
mbembet - 1/5/2014, 5:30 PM
geoff johns is a douchebag and i'm still glad his gl movie failed
shangho - 1/5/2014, 6:03 PM
I've loved Bats since i was a kid (hate to "age" myself but WAY before 89),i'm glad he's popular.Kane's family deserves the income. He was one of the few who managed to hold on to the rights (or at least what little they allowed back then). And i agree about the league thing.Tower Of Babel says it all!
Prime - 1/5/2014, 6:11 PM
@ Omega
That is stupid. And like MAC said, bad writing.
unknownfacts - 1/5/2014, 6:15 PM
Well with this year being Batman's 75th anniversary and all there's a good excuse for all the Batman related stuff coming out.
Mike89 - 1/5/2014, 6:23 PM
Cant wait! DC animation rarely disappoints.
NuclearMan - 1/5/2014, 6:30 PM
I keep thinking this will be meh but then I see stuff like this and I get hyped
Jollem - 1/5/2014, 6:40 PM
sweetsauce
CeltiC527 - 1/5/2014, 7:28 PM
This is exactly why Hal Jordan should be in a Juston League movie and NOT John Stewart. Hal and Bats have a relationship that is similar to that of Ironman and Captain America's in the Avengers movie, and that would be really cool to see on the big screen.
KingSilence - 1/5/2014, 7:35 PM
I hate that the shading and detail in the environment is not also used on the characters. It's like watching Space Jam all over again
Jollem - 1/5/2014, 7:38 PM
#teamhal

kyle is the man, tho
damntree - 1/5/2014, 7:42 PM
[frick]ing Batman.
