Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have released a new banner - featuring Rodrigo Santoro as King Xerxes - for the follow-up to Zack Snyder's critically acclaimed 300 (this time directed by Noam Murro, with a script from Snyder and Kurt Johnstad), 300: Rise of an Empire.

By Josh Wilding - 1/21/2014

After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches south towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.

@Bravado: "They didn't call him "the thinking man's comedian" for nothing".

Amen, brother. Plus, that comment about the separation of church and state reflects one of the basic foundations of U.S. politics. Only religious nuts would think otherwise.

To be fair, I wasn't insulting all religious people...just those that want to break down the separation of church and state.
Godzillafart - 1/21/2014, 12:46 PM
@Gusto: There is a lot to process there....quite a lot indeed.
Godzillafart - 1/21/2014, 12:47 PM
@Gusto: Ha! Can I interest you in a square dance?
