DESPICABLE ME 2 should of won over FROZEN.
Reasonnnn - 2/16/2014, 2:44 PM
@MrCBM56 really now? Minions are great, but who really cares about Gru or any of the daughters.
RichardBoldly - 2/16/2014, 2:48 PM
Gravity is genius.
ScorpioRisin - 2/16/2014, 2:49 PM
Wait, why wasn't Mccgonaughey nominated for lead? He would have easily won.
TheTruthHurts - 2/16/2014, 2:52 PM
Gravity: worst movie out there since Ishtar.
revloveR - 2/16/2014, 2:53 PM
gravity was a british film?

also, what's the deal with the dallas buyers club? they got shat on.
RichardBoldly - 2/16/2014, 2:54 PM
No every [frick]ing movie needs to have complex story or characters.

Gravity may have a simple story and yet the film is BRILIANT.

Just go read more reviews and you'll see the metaphors and meanings the film contains.

Alfonso cuaron is a master of Cinema.
Destined - 2/16/2014, 2:54 PM
Jennifer over Lupita....lies! Smh....
SuperCat - 2/16/2014, 2:55 PM
Haven't seen "Gravity" yet. Thinking about renting it tonight.
marvel72 - 2/16/2014, 2:56 PM
gravity was my favorite film of 2013,so i'm glad it won.

at least iron man 3 got nominated for best visual effects, certainly something you can't knock about the movie.
Reasonnnn - 2/16/2014, 2:56 PM
Dallas Buyers Club is overrated af. McConaughey is amazing, Leto's performance is overrated and Garner was meh. The real Woodruff wasn't even a homophobe.
RichardBoldly - 2/16/2014, 2:56 PM
People complain(without no reason) that Gravity lacks of good story and characters development, and yet suck Marvel's dick, wash Michael Bay's balls.....

Go figure.
staypuffed - 2/16/2014, 2:58 PM
I'm glad Jen actually won an award this year... I loved her in American Hustle.
As for Gravity: meh. it was alright.
TopCat89 - 2/16/2014, 2:58 PM
I have to say what shocked me the most tonight, was the missing tribute to Roger Lloyd Pack aka 'Trigger', during the "in memoriam" section....one of Britain's treasures!
RichardBoldly - 2/16/2014, 2:59 PM
These are the same idiots who get mad that The Hunger Games:Catching Fire was doing waaaaaaay better than recent Marvel movies in relation to Box office and Critics.
JossWeedOnMe - 2/16/2014, 2:59 PM
As soon as you stick the word Slave into a title your guaranteed awards
RichardBoldly - 2/16/2014, 3:00 PM

JediSuperGuy83 - 2/16/2014, 3:11 PM

FilmsFan - 2/16/2014, 3:12 PM
This isn't serious!
Mathew McConaughey wasn't even nominated... He's easily the Best Actor!
Not necessarily best film (very good one though)!

Then MOS not nonminated for VFX!
BullShit!
Hobbit didn't win Make & Hair Style... No way
ScabbyJ - 2/16/2014, 3:16 PM
Jossweedonme: 12YaS was the best film of 2013. Period.
Pending - 2/16/2014, 3:16 PM
Frozen was a huge disappointment for me. Pretty overrated film, Monsters U was better.
HeisenbergSaysRelax - 2/16/2014, 3:17 PM
Short Term 12 should have won every award at every show.
JediSuperGuy83 - 2/16/2014, 3:19 PM
Abdi Over Fassbender Ejiofor Over Leo and Blanchett Over Adams thats Just WRONG!!!!!!
marvel72 - 2/16/2014, 3:21 PM
@ filmsfan

i don't think man of steel has been nominated for an award in any award ceremony,i believe it comes down to how realistic & fluid the cgi looks.

man of steel looks like a video game in some of the fight scenes, play dc injustice gods among us very similar.
JediSuperGuy83 - 2/16/2014, 3:23 PM
@Marvel72 WETA & Scanline Did The Effects Same as Iron Man 3 it did deserve The Lone Ranger looks like a Video Game which ILM did
marvel72 - 2/16/2014, 3:27 PM
@ superguy83

i haven't seen the lone ranger so i can't comment, however the lone ranger didn't get nominated for a bafta.
Ocelot - 2/16/2014, 3:28 PM
DiCaprio snubbed again surprise surprise, he'll be snubbed at The Oscars next month as well, shame as this SHOULD be his year.
JediSuperGuy83 - 2/16/2014, 3:30 PM
Really Catherine Martin beats Michael Wilkinson for Best Costume design The dudes A Phenomenal Costume Designer his work in Tron Legacy and Man Of Steel Own!!!
JediSuperGuy83 - 2/16/2014, 3:30 PM
The Lego Movie is better Than Frozen & Monsters U
Jollem - 2/16/2014, 3:44 PM
man of steel has the best cgi in any cbm i've seen to date
deamon - 2/16/2014, 4:07 PM
Gravity, movie with a lot of illogical scenes for naive audience.
SephirothUK - 2/16/2014, 4:11 PM
Whoo! I worked on Sleeping with the Fishes (Short Ani) - so chuffed it won
MightyZeus - 2/16/2014, 4:14 PM
Gravity getting all those awards is well deserved.

Gravity was and is the best film of 2013.
RorMachine - 2/16/2014, 4:30 PM
The Gravity bashing always makes me laugh. The story is the story...it's about a woman trapped in space trying to survive and get back home..it has no pretensions of being anything else! If you found it boring well..sorry! I was riveted the whole time.
NicolausCopernicus - 2/16/2014, 4:37 PM
I approve this movie
