Saintsinnister - 4/19/2014, 3:23 PM
I dont know about this show. No Jedi could make it lame.
ALegendaryPanda - 4/19/2014, 3:24 PM
Not too exciting but still cool
ezio619 - 4/19/2014, 3:25 PM
im looking quite forward to this show
SuperCat - 4/19/2014, 3:28 PM
Doesn't look like something I'd watch. But kids may like it.
FightAs0ne - 4/19/2014, 3:29 PM
If it'll be anything like Clone Wars, I'm in. After watching it on Netflix, it got much better as time went on and they learned their mistakes. Disney may try to tone it down which will suck.
Gmoney84 - 4/19/2014, 3:30 PM
It has Jedi.
Brainiac13 - 4/19/2014, 3:36 PM
Loved Clone Wars.......can't wait.

@Saintsinnister

This does include Jedi's.........It wouldn't be worth watching then. :)
wookiefit76 - 4/19/2014, 3:37 PM
I still haven't made my mind up on this yet.
Nomis - 4/19/2014, 3:37 PM
Not going to judge it off one clip, but it certainly seems more "Disney" than Star Wars i.e made for really really small kids..

ndwwrestler2 - 4/19/2014, 3:41 PM
Feels like the O.T for me, which was something for all ages. The clip isn't much to go on, but I'm excited for this.
DrDoom - 4/19/2014, 3:47 PM
I've always had this feeling that this show is going to surprise everyone. They have some really talented people working on it. I have hope.

I think the Force may be strong with this one.
REPOMAN - 4/19/2014, 3:49 PM

It's no more 'Disney' than the original Star Wars.

NoPhucksGiven - 4/19/2014, 4:00 PM
nope.
RodimusPryme - 4/19/2014, 4:12 PM
The first thing out of that droids speaks was "WTF?" Did anyone else hear that?
ndwwrestler2 - 4/19/2014, 4:13 PM
@RodimusPryme It's amazing the things they can get away with in animations LOL.
BlindJustice - 4/19/2014, 4:16 PM
Why not a live-action SW show on ABC called 'Rebels'? Instead, we get some bastardized fantasy with Prince Charming, giant dwarves, and Snow White...oh and some sort of Wicked Witch...Dammit, Disney, a live-action SW show would rock the charts!
Dandy - 4/19/2014, 4:23 PM
I'm looking forward to this show. They did a great job with Clone Wars, so it will be interesting to see what they do with a show where the story is built from the ground up.

@Saintsinnister

There is a Jedi on the show. One of the main characters is a jedi in hiding.

NoPhucksGiven - 4/19/2014, 4:31 PM
when does this shit take place.
bazinga85 - 4/19/2014, 4:35 PM
This looks lame as [frick].
TheBeard - 4/19/2014, 4:35 PM
so are we gonna see a young Han Solo in this i wonder?
TheBeard - 4/19/2014, 4:36 PM
@NoPhucksGiven

between Revenge of the sith and A New Hope
Saintsinnister - 4/19/2014, 5:00 PM
^Wich is why I figured no Jedi were in it.
CinemaHero - 4/19/2014, 6:02 PM
Looks...okay.

I really hope it keeps it mostly serious like The Clone Wars.

Still holding out it's going to be the Star Wars version of Firefly...
JamesMan - 4/19/2014, 6:16 PM
Not writing it off but oh boy that animation was really bouncy, like kids movie bouncy. Thanks Disney.
Humperdink - 4/19/2014, 6:57 PM

@Saintsinnister

Aside from Yoda and Kenobi all of the Jedi were wiped out by the Sith Lord and the clone troopers during 'order 66'.

Except well...all the other overlooked Jedi when a new series or game is needed.
Chekkarma - 4/19/2014, 6:59 PM
Maybe it's my ears,but it sounds like that robot says "What the F*ck" in the beginning.
soforizo - 4/19/2014, 7:05 PM
I barely could stick with Clone Wars (got bored with it). This Disneyfied trash makes Clone Wars look like the best thing ever.
Dandy - 4/19/2014, 7:34 PM
Disney put in a lot of the censored scenes from the Cartoon Network versions when they acquired the rights to the show. The versions released to Netflix features a lot of the removed "violent" scenes.

....So if that is any indication...Let's assume they are not planning to "Disneyfy" this.

Also it is the same animation team working on this new show as Clone Wars. Hopefully that is also a good indication.
ShelfPorn - 4/19/2014, 7:35 PM
I don't know, but looks pretty good to me. I'll DVR it.
Ceejay - 4/19/2014, 11:13 PM
Same old flippant attitude to characterization and humor. Kids stuff, no serious drama intent to be seen left, right or center.

Call me when BioWare start making Star Wars films without any George Lucas or Disney involvement.

Danbojohnj - 4/19/2014, 11:25 PM
Looks like a Disneyfied Clone Wars.
I love CW but I'm reserving judgement on this.
JediPhilosopher - 4/20/2014, 12:29 AM
Yeah, Clone Wars often amazed me how much it was like watching a decent Star Wars movie. This isn't giving me that feeling at all. Seems like a kid's cartoon.
TheFleens - 4/20/2014, 1:02 AM
This... looks bad. This seems like a cheap "kiddie" ripoff of TCW. If this is any inclination of the show's style I shudder to think of how they will portray the Inquisitor. All I can picture is an "Oh drat! Foiled again by you meddling kids & your silly droid too!" villain. Good grief.

I have really high hopes for this, but the awkward animation & goofy, Disney theme in this clip is totally throwing me off. Maybe I'm in for a pleasant surprise & it will be amazing.

*please don't be trash, please don't be trash, please don't be trash*
HeadPool420 - 4/20/2014, 1:18 AM
Maybe it'll be like The Clone Wars and get better as it goes on.
REPOMAN - 4/20/2014, 4:30 AM
CJ- "Same old flippant attitude to characterization and humor. Kids stuff, no serious drama intent to be seen left, right or center."

Same type of characterisation, humour and banter displayed by the droids, Solo and Chewbacca in the original. Star Wars is kids stuff.

Thelastdalek - 4/20/2014, 8:49 AM
@REPOMAN

I agree. Fan boys all ways bitch about the prequels not being like the original trilogy and know that we get something with a similar tone to the originals they bitch about that.
Dandy - 4/20/2014, 1:34 PM
@TheFleens

It is being made by the same people as The Clone Wars....they can't rip themselves off! Especially when they are intentionally making it in the same style.
SimyJo - 4/21/2014, 9:20 AM
Child-friendly rubbish. StarWars needs to be taken seriously again and continue to be an exercise in marketing new characters for the purposes of selling toys.
Get the lightsabers out and start chopping some limbs off.

PS: the new Sith inquisitor character with the obligatory newly unique style of lightaber (lame) is not scary at all. Childish Disney marketeers steering the course of future StarWars.
TheFleens - 4/21/2014, 11:40 PM
@Dandy

I know, & that's the only part that gives me hope.

What I meant by ripoff is that the animation, effects, & sound seem cheap & sort off "dollar store knockoff" to me. I watched that clip several times & could barely even stand it due to how low-budget it seemed to me. It reminded me of those shows that Nickelodeon plays. You know, the spin-off shows for practically EVERY Dreamworks movie that comes out. They always seem cheap & cheesy to me.

Maybe that's there thing though. Since it's set closer to the OT era maybe they are trying to do it as a homage... I wish they wouldn't though. But that's just my opinion.
