Lou Ferrigno Again Claims That Marvel Are Planning Another HULK Movie After AVENGERS: AOU

There have been rumours of another solo outing for the Green Goliath after Avengers: Age of Ultron for a while now, but Lou Ferrigno - who will return to voice the Hulk in the sequel- has again claimed that Marvel are still planning to bring Bruce Banner back to the big screen in his own movie...

It's not the first time that the actor has made such claims, but Latino-Review have pointed to yet another instance of Lou Ferrigno claiming that another Hulk movie is in the works. Talking to a local radio station in Minnesota, Ferrigno told them that Marvel are indeed planning another solo outing for the iconic character, stating that, "Now because he saved the day, they're making another solo Hulk movie after the second Avengers comes out." Considering the fact that he's set to return for Avengers: Age of Ultron to voice the Green Goliath, it's a safe bet to say that the actor at least has some inkling as to whether or not he'll be making a return to again provide vocals for the Hulk. Could a Planet Hulk movie be announced at this year's Comic-Con? We can only hope...

So phase 3 then......YES!!!! I pray this is true, and that we will be seeing potentially the next big MCU villain in the form of The Leader
themidnightking - 5/1/2014, 9:33 AM
Planet Hulk perhaps?
GliderMan - 5/1/2014, 9:34 AM
I understand why people don't want Planet Hulk, but I can see the story fitting in with Phase 3.
BlackIceJoe - 5/1/2014, 9:34 AM
Well hopefully it is better then the last Hulk movies.
charlie2094 - 5/1/2014, 9:40 AM
Hopefully not Planet Hulk, would just be a straight up cgi film, no Banner, Betty, Abomination or anything. The premise is even stretching it a bit in the comics...hopefully much more like the "indestructible" Hulk rumours there were a while back.

Don't think we'll see it until after Avengers 3, but we'll see

Planet Hulk or GTFO.
ProfessorX - 5/1/2014, 9:41 AM
I really hope so. And they need to get Tim Blake Nelson, Tim Roth, and William Hurt back, as they were all ace in their roles.

I will say this it's really disappointing I won't ever get to see Dr. Doom vs Hulk in a movie. I always enjoyed seeing Dr. Doom as a villain to Hulk. So it unfortunate I won't ever get to see those two fight each other.
charlie2094 - 5/1/2014, 9:42 AM
Only way to do Planet Hulk would be have either Hulk "sacrifice" himself, or have Thanos send him into space. If you follow the comics, either the Avengers are the bad guys, or the Hulk is, and they've only just redeemed him on screen

yeah cause marvel would definitly tell him that long before he would be needed for a voice. Bullshit. Ill just wait for marvel to officially announce it.

Has to be The Leader and Abomination...Throw in Rick (maybe converting him to A-bomb) and Jennifer....Do the end teaser Red Hulk...and close credit teaser of a dark meeting of people discussing what to do a bout him..then reveal its Pym, Stark, and Fury...or if fox dumps it...Richards..

DAMN I so wish this turns out true!!!

I was just saying on another thread that it's a shame really. So many people went to Thor and Captain America because they were known prequels to the Avengers at the time. The Incredible Hulk was not afforded such a build-up... Avengers was just a hopeful possibility at the time to die hard comic fans. A cinematic universe was still a pipedream. I think if Hulk & Cap traded spots Hulk would have faired much better.

I don't know how many people said (after they learned I saw Thor or Cap in regular conversations) "do you know they are all going be in a movie next year called The Avengers?!" I would laugh to myself because yeah I know.... I'm a CBM fan! :)

To be honest with you... I personally would have waited to see Thor on DVD if I didn't know they were all connected.. the trailers (and both movies) felt weak to me IMO

If Marvel really are going to start releasing 3 or 4 movies a year, I can definitely see them making a Hulk movie announcement at Comic-Con this year. The Green Goliath has tonnes of franchise potential.

No need for Planet Hulk, tho it would be a great story to tell one day

TIH is actually becoming one of my favorite MCU films and overall CBMs
Rulk - 5/1/2014, 9:48 AM
And I would love to see a disgraced, demoted General Ross turn into a fire breathing vengeful seeking enraged Extremis infected Red Hulk on screen!

I'll believe the news when it's not coming from 'Mr. Lisp'.
