"Marvel's Agent Carter," starring Captain America's Hayley Atwell follows the story of Peggy Carter. It's 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life--Steve Rogers. Inspired by the feature films "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," along with the short "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter." Starring Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, "Marvel's Agent Carter" is executive produced by Christopher Markus, Steve McFeely, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Jeph Loeb.

Although it's a nice poster/banner.

Like the look. Much more comic bookish than the first poster of AoS. This show has so much potential to flesh out the early days of the MCU. it would be dope if they could include the Howling Commandos, Young Hank Pym, Union Jack and maybe the original Human Torch in some capacity.

Dis gone be good
arsonjack - 5/10/2014, 7:26 AM
no thnx
ProfessorX - 5/10/2014, 7:27 AM
Awesome.
0megaDaGod - 5/10/2014, 7:28 AM
I like that they seem to be moving more towards letting comic book artist design their promotional stuff. This, Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix shows should all have stuff similar to this and the things they have for AoS's weekly episodes.

The CW stuff should do that as well. I actually kinda would like for Gotham to keep doing what it's doing though
superotherside - 5/10/2014, 7:28 AM
Still not completely sure about this. But maybe it'll work if they have some old characters from the comics play a role in it. Perhaps the old Nick Fury could show up? They could explain easily enough that Nick Fury in the movies was old Nick's son.
ckal - 5/10/2014, 7:29 AM
at least it is set in 1946
Kurne - 5/10/2014, 7:30 AM
... Not looking forward to this. However, I have a feeling it'll be off to a better start than AoS. They're really pushing for it.
PAF - 5/10/2014, 7:30 AM
YYEEEESSSSS!!!!! Can't wait! Hopefully Howard is in it, and the Howling Commandos!

ProfessorX - 5/10/2014, 7:31 AM
Maybe we will see some Invader cameos (Human Torch, Namor, Union Jack, etc.) in this? I think Howling Commandos are a given.
tvor03 - 5/10/2014, 7:32 AM
I think the Howling Commandos are going to be a big part of this show. Which is why they featured the old-timey spy stuff in last weeks episode of AoS.
DoubleD - 5/10/2014, 7:33 AM
Don't think so. Sounds boring
ProfessorX - 5/10/2014, 7:34 AM
@Kurne: It's a 12 episode run, right? So there'll be less filler. Also a lot of the characters are already established.
DoubleD - 5/10/2014, 7:35 AM
If the real Nick Fury was in this that would be AWESOME ! but its called Agent Carter, not Howling Commandos
TrollPolice - 5/10/2014, 7:35 AM
ZzzzzzzzZZZzz
MrMartinMarvel - 5/10/2014, 7:36 AM
As I've said before, I'll only be interested if they use this show to introduce Marvel's entire library of Golden Age characters to the MCU. People tend to forget that Marvel published way more characters in the 40's than just Cap, Android Torch, and Namor. Give me any of these guys Marvel, and I'll be happy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Marvel_Comics_Golden_Age_characters

ABC's shows is good and Netflix's shows will be [frick]ing amazing
Scarilian - 5/10/2014, 7:41 AM
Not seeing much of a reason for this show. We know that she survives and thus the whole 'spy suspense' thing is gone.

Throw in the Howling Commandoes for a few action packed episodes and maybe I'll watch it... but I'm getting the feeling this show is just their to set up the events in Avengers; Age Of Ultron (Which features a 1940's flashback scene with Peggy Carter)

Will probably give it a watch, but I have low expectations. The best we can hope for is a 'Winter Soldier' episode where he murders Howard Stark - leading to Peggy trying to track him down.
marvel72 - 5/10/2014, 7:42 AM
anyone who has watched the agent carter marvel one shot will know what potential this show has.
MachineGunner - 5/10/2014, 7:45 AM
Why the [frick] is this getting made? Im sorry but aren't there any other MARVEL characters that should get a show before Agent Carter? Heck i'd put Moon Knight ahead of her.
dougieisrollingthejays - 5/10/2014, 7:45 AM
do they have a release date for the pilot?
DoubleD - 5/10/2014, 7:45 AM
Luke Cage, Iron Fist, DareDevil, Ka-Zar, Moon Knight, so many Marvel Charcters and we get

AGENT CARTER ! UGH!
dougieisrollingthejays - 5/10/2014, 7:46 AM
@DoubleD He can't, he was born in the 60s in the MCU. There was a badge or something somewere. No way he's 95. Now Jack fury they could do.
Marvel1997 - 5/10/2014, 7:47 AM
@Omega @marvel72- anyone who thinks this show is a waste of time obv don't care about the early days of the MCU being fleshed out. This could basically be showing the ORIGIN of SHIELD, how they started and possibly how hydra slowly began to infiltrate. Winter Soldier cameo isn't out of the possibility. Not to mention it had always felt like there was something missing in the time period between Captain America The First Avenger and Present day MCU
grif - 5/10/2014, 7:48 AM
so lame. i saw the one shot and it sucked.
dougieisrollingthejays - 5/10/2014, 7:50 AM
Grif :) nice to see you
DoubleD - 5/10/2014, 7:50 AM
dougieisrollingthejays , IN COMICS NICK FURY WAS Sgt. Fury the leader of the US Rangers’ First Attack Squad, soon nicknamed the “Howling Commandos

Son of World War I pilot Jack Fury, Nick Fury became a legendary hero in the early years of World War II, taking missions into Europe alongside his friend Red Hargrove, under the command of Lt. Samuel Sawyer. During a mission in Holland, Fury, Hargrove and Sawyer befriended circus strongman Timothy "Dum-Dum" Dugan who became a close friend. Hargrove was killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor that led the US to officially enter the war on December 7, 1941, Fury fought the Nazis in Northern Africa, then was reunited with Captain Sawyer, who made Sgt. Fury the leader of the US Rangers’ First Attack Squad, soon nicknamed the “Howling Commandos” for their boisterous battle cry. Dugan served as Fury’s second-in-command and became his closest friend. The Howlers occasionally worked alongside Captain America (Steve Rogers) and Bucky (James Barnes), who became significant allies. During one mission, Fury’s left eye was damaged by a grenade and his lack of medical care eventually aggravated the wound. At one point, Professor Berthold Sternberg gave Fury the “Infinity Formula,” which retarded Fury’s aging process, although it required him to take regular injections to stay alive. Late in the war, Fury joined the OSS and with the war’s end joined their post-war CIA agency.
AlexanderLykins - 5/10/2014, 7:51 AM
Groot was part of the Howling Commandoes?
NeoBaggins - 5/10/2014, 7:52 AM
@PAF

Damn, them boys gettin it. Where they do that at.

But yea, I don't know what the [frick] they're doing with these shows. Is it too expensive to get a real MARVEL hero show going? They did it in the 70s and 80s with balls. Hurry up with DareDevil then. Shit.

But I'll watch this if it doesnt take itself too seriously. Im talkin Indiana Jones type shit with robots that look like this...

@doubleD Yeah no duh. But fact is IN THE MOVIES he was born in the 60s... He won't be on the show. AT ALL! MAYBE eventually they will give him a BABY cameo. HIS DAD MIGHT BE!
Brainiac13 - 5/10/2014, 7:54 AM
Looking forward to this......but I don't think it'll last......long as they do 10eps a season....may keep it going.
Super12 - 5/10/2014, 7:56 AM
The one shot was really good, this should be awesome. Cant believe alleged comicbook fans on here are dissing this. Its being done by Marvel and it has Hailey Atwell and probably Dominic Cooper in it! Hello??
