It's been long rumored that Dominic Cooper, who played Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger was set to reprise his role in the upcoming TV series, Agent Carter and now we may have just gotten a bit of confirmation on that front from lead actress Hayley Atwell. In an interview with The Telegraph, while discussing pranks she's played on past co-stars, she briefly talked about pranking her rumored co-star when he joins her on the set of the upcoming series: "He’s incredibly naughty, So I’m going to start the pranks as early as I can. He will come up with some very good ones, too." Now, while this is not official confirmation from Marvel, it does seem, based on her comments, that Cooper will be involved with the series in some capacity. Whether or not he's a series regular or just a guest appearance is yet to be determined.

Now, with the Stark patriarch involved, Agent Carter is shaping up to be quite the series. Sound off with your thoughts below.

It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark.

Good. May be one of the few fewer fewest reasons I'd want to keep up with the show. Cooper is great.
grif - 6/6/2014, 5:09 AM
heres an idea. give stark a show and ditch the carter idea.
ICEMAN5151 - 6/6/2014, 5:11 AM

SuperCat - 6/6/2014, 5:11 AM
No! I want to see more of Atwell!

0megaDaGod - 6/6/2014, 5:13 AM
Yes. Thank you. Cooper was a must with this show. Now give me Dugan and the rest of the HC!
Super12 - 6/6/2014, 5:17 AM
There was no way this show could happen without him. I'm all in on this one, can't wait.
NovaCorpsFan - 6/6/2014, 5:20 AM
I hope they show HYDRA's initial infiltration.
Frogman - 6/6/2014, 5:28 AM
Yeah, I think Neal McDonough as Dugan and "Antoine Triplett's Grandfather" (assuming they're not the same person) at the very least should appear. Saying that, I want some kind of explanation as to why Chester Phillips isn't there (pretty easy, he co-formed SHIELD then died) and surely Zola should be in it in some capacity?
sickboy76 - 6/6/2014, 5:34 AM
Don't forget the original union jack.
OpticBlastWins - 6/6/2014, 5:36 AM
I doubt Neal will do this show. Too many movies to make
FastFlames - 6/6/2014, 5:36 AM
Bring in Zola!! Or I'll have to come find someone to file a complaint to about how shitty the show is without him, when really it doesn't make a difference.
OpticBlastWins - 6/6/2014, 5:36 AM
maybe a cameo or two
TheBrotherhood - 6/6/2014, 5:37 AM
If the Howling Commandos and Captain Britain will make some sort of a part then this show will not be, as Enzo Amore said, SAWFT!!!!!
ICEMAN5151 - 6/6/2014, 5:38 AM
@ SUPERCAT - AMEN BROTHER!
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 5:40 AM
Seeing some more of this fellow might be a nice jab at FOX's new FF crapfest...

NovaCorpsFan - 6/6/2014, 5:40 AM
Nrotherhood

Careful now. Cpt. Britain isn't related to this in any way, it's Union Jack who is.
soforizo - 6/6/2014, 5:41 AM
I need Howling Commandos in this. I hope this isn't another Alias or Nikita.
Jollem - 6/6/2014, 5:44 AM
they should give the fans what they really wanna see: a trevor origin story. a hooker with a heart of gold-trying to make ends meet on the streets. smokin' rocks and suckin' €*#!$
GURILLAPUD - 6/6/2014, 5:49 AM
This show is going to suck.
ComicsBornAndBred - 6/6/2014, 5:49 AM
Howling commandos please-----as a strike the for the early SHIELD. Exited for this. Atwell is goo enough to carry a show, more so then Clark Gregg IMO. I think this cast will be better than AOS
Kurne - 6/6/2014, 5:52 AM
@Jollem

"they should give the fans what they really wanna see: a trevor origin story. a hooker with a heart of gold-trying to make ends meet on the streets. smokin' rocks and suckin' €*#!$"

Sounds more like your origin story.
ElBicho - 6/6/2014, 5:54 AM
@BlindJustice

YES!!!
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 6:02 AM
@GURILLAPUD - Then don't watch it...

Oh and on a similar note, today marks the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. Thanks for what you and your band of brothers did, Gusto!!!

Jollem - 6/6/2014, 6:05 AM
@Kurne - oh snap. sick burn
0megaDaGod - 6/6/2014, 6:06 AM
@Kurne

That was cold blooded

Tuuralihn - 6/6/2014, 6:19 AM
Seeing as it's only 8 episodes, I don't see how he won't be involved. Very short amount of time.
ElvenKingSlayer - 6/6/2014, 6:19 AM
Strucker and the first Zemo as main villains for the show please
Dedpool - 6/6/2014, 6:21 AM
I want Neil McDonugh back as Dum Dum Dugan!! I'd like the rest of the Howling Commandos back too, but definitely Dum Dum!!
MightyZeus - 6/6/2014, 6:29 AM
It's good news to see that Stark will be returning but i wonder if they'll factor at some point in to the show that Howard Stark and his wife get assassinated by The Winter Soldier or was it HYDRA?
Maven - 6/6/2014, 6:32 AM
Great news.
SupermanReturns2 - 6/6/2014, 6:35 AM
This series, guys, may be able to carry stories over towards Phase III; mainly, the following arcs:

1.) Zola/Hydra and the S.H.E.I.L.D. invasion

2.) The origin of the Kree body that appeared I AOS

3.) Stark's Expo creation leading toward Coulson's "Lola"

4.) Synthetic Man from Stark Expo HAS to play a role in what's coming in AVENGERS II and The Vision

5.) If HYDRA played a role in Stark's fate-the groundwork could be laid here.

Just a few thoughts.
ruadh - 6/6/2014, 7:30 AM
@Frogman
"Antoine Triplett's Grandfather"

Gabriel Jones....recognize!
GodzillaKart - 6/6/2014, 7:31 AM
I think this has the possibility of being the best CBTV show out there. It certainly has the best actors. I hope they make it great.
GodzillaKart - 6/6/2014, 7:32 AM
@MightyZeus: I doubt they will cover that, as we know Stark lives into the 60's as we saw in IM2.
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 7:35 AM
Did this chick ever get Nekkid in a movie?

Her body shape is almost identical to FLO's so ill just pretend I'm shtooping agent carter
driver - 6/6/2014, 7:43 AM
So, Victor Fondue between both Confirmed?!
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 7:45 AM
It's called "role playing " and then we write it down and send it to PENTHOUSE.
String - 6/6/2014, 7:53 AM
Looking forward to the series. Glad to hear that Dominic is going to be involved. Now looking forward to see if Neal McDonough shows up (he's done television) It will a really great tie-in with AOS if Derek Luke makes an appearance, since I think he is Triplett's grandfather. Also wondering who the villians will be -Baron Zemo, for example since he was originally conceived for the movie -Nick Fury, to tell his connection to Howard Stark -and perhaps Union Jack since the character, Montgomery Falsworth was in CA: TFA. Serouisly, this could be a great TV show. So many elements to explore.
SCURVYDOG619 - 6/6/2014, 8:02 AM
You want ratings for Agent Carter?

Bruce Campbell as Clay Quartermain.....
