remembertheking - if people keep watching not only bay will keep making the same shit, but you will also be unable to demand quality

^Just shut the [frick] up already. Jesus.

Saw the movie today, and it was indeed awesome. Nearly as good as the first one with actual robot characters. They were spot on.

Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:21 AM
The robots got more character and screentime this time. Especially the scene with Hound with Bumblebee in Hong Kong . He is the breakout character of the movie. Crosshairs and Drift got their 5 minutes of fame too...and even Ratchet, who got slain by humans and Lockdown. Ratchet kept on saying, "Why? I'm an Autobot! I'm a friend!" . RIP Ratchet and Leadfoot.

Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:22 AM
It's also the first time Optimus Prime actually kills human beings. Optimus is mostly very pissed off in this movie.
SteamBlust
SteamBlust - 6/25/2014, 11:26 AM
But of course, the movie is critically doomed. Most of the people will give it bad reviews and ratings just because it's a Transformers movie.

Awesome? Buahahahah, no! It's shit, you like shit.

I watched the film. The movie and characters are mostly good, but the dialogue is crap. The phasing is crap too...One minute the human characters experience fear and having a friend die, very traumatic scene...then a few minutes later they joke around with comedy.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:36 AM
And they didn't acknowledge the fate of Sam Witwicky at all....
SteamBlust
SteamBlust - 6/25/2014, 11:37 AM
The first one sadly. But Bee's definitely not the star of the movie, it's the whole team. But mostly Hound. Goodman rocked it.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:39 AM
Bumblebee is pissed at his knock off, Stinger in this movie...
SteamBlust
SteamBlust - 6/25/2014, 11:39 AM
And noone gives a damn about Sam's whiny ass.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:40 AM
I was very impressed by Goodman's Hound. He is a hard knock..
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:42 AM
I'm not impressed by Mark Walberg and the Nicola Peltz's characters. They seem unrealistic.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:44 AM
Bumblebee is a star of the film. He almost killed Lockdown in the final battle. Bumblebee is tougher in this film than in the animated series and comics.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:46 AM
Best quote in the movie:

"Dang I hate knockoffs." -- Bumblebee

" I'm going to kill you!!!" -- Optimus Prime to humans
Superheromoviefan
Superheromoviefan - 6/25/2014, 11:49 AM
SteamBlust - Yes, it's critically doomed because it's a Transformers movie. It has nothing to do that it sucks
SteamBlust
SteamBlust - 6/25/2014, 11:50 AM
Not reboot, just fire the writer and replace Bay. The current cast is perfectly fine, but they're in the wrong hands.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:50 AM
I would like Joss Whedon or Christopher Nolan to direct a reboot Transformers.

SteamBlust
SteamBlust - 6/25/2014, 11:51 AM
^lol That's not gonna happen.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:52 AM
And I would like Bumblebee to actually transform into a volkswagon in the reboot.
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:52 AM
Then who's the perfect director for Transformers???
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:53 AM
Who is the perfect director for Transformers?
Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 11:54 AM
If Nolan would've directed a reboot of Transformers Im curious to what it would look like.
DarthSandwich
DarthSandwich - 6/25/2014, 11:58 AM
@Murdockrenzo, Joe Cornish? the choice of the top off my head...
DarthSandwich
DarthSandwich - 6/25/2014, 11:59 AM

@Murdockrenzo, Why is people's first choice for everything Nolan?
Superheromoviefan
Superheromoviefan - 6/25/2014, 12:12 PM
Nolan isn't a good choice for Transformers
I like his movies, but no

Murdockrenzo
Murdockrenzo - 6/25/2014, 1:22 PM
Joe Cornish seems like a good choice....It's questionable why they chose bay over Cornish.

What about James Mangold? Steven Soderbergh? Ang Lee? Peter Jackson?
