I am so glad they didn't make Maeso someone out to hate Oliver. On the contrary, it seems as if they are still friends (not Slade Wilson friends). Maybe if it wasn't RAS AL GHUL Maeso would have helped

that was cool yesterday but oliver looked like he had never used a sword before, i liked ras though he looked like he was playing with oliver, he never looked like oliver really threatened him.

I'm also happy they made Maseo not want to see Oliver die, they are just friends separated by grief. As cool as it is to see enemies resurface from the past (aka Slade Wilson style) I'm happy they are doing something a little different.

dannramm113- i was worried they'd do that after i saw him in the promo for the episode. i think he is going to be the one to save oliver, we saw someone in the preview for the next episode walking towards oliver and i think it's him.

I may need to watch it again, but first time was brutal. I always underestimate what they [writers/CW] can and can't show. Bravo for that last scene.

I'm also glad they didn't make it out like Oliver actually stood a chance against Ra's. I wish they had made a Batman reference like "There's only one man who I find worthy as an adversary and it's not you..." or something along those lines.

Have to admit it, I did not see this one coming - at all!

My prediction was that Oliver would somehow best Ra's and seem to kill him or, at least, deliver a "fatal" wound, making Malcom and everyone else think they're safe, only to have Ra's rise from a Lazarus Pit, with the reveal that "You cannot kill the Demon's Head!"

Anyway, now I'm definitely curious how the tail end of the season will move ahead. I mean, Oliver must end up in a pit... no?

Its a shame that they have literally turned Green Arrow into a discount Batman, which means this entire scene was predictable and bland. Given the Lazarus Pits we know how he'll come back and we know that virtually anyone can return from death, so its kinda hilariously pointless in terms of a fight.

I suppose it would be a good cliff-hanger if they hadnt given us the clue that we were going to get the Lazarus pits.

It'll be like Batman, some unknown enemy decides to betray Ra's resulting in Oliver getting put in the Lazarus pit where he'll have a mental struggle with himself over whether he wants to live. Then he'll come out stronger than ever and defeat Ra's.

the perfect ending would have been if ra's would have said that his skills are not yet on par with the detective. Can we at least get a batman reference.

MantiniumBorn- this season so far has been pretty slow, apparently they are getting the filler and story stuff out of the way ready for the 2nd half of the season. id say this and the flash arrow episode where probably the best of the season. Overall Flash has been much more interesting.

Glad I'm not the only one that kept on seeing the stunt double. It was pretty weird for me since I don't have a keen eye for stuff like that. It was really distracting.

Either way I thought the episode was really good.
