We're gonna eat her because she smells good, and was a bitch, except at the end.

Idk there's ever been a perfect/flawless SNL show without a bad sketch, but the last decade+ the good sketches have been fewer and farther between. I haven't regularly watched the show since the late 90s. Now the only time I "watch" SNL is the better sketches on uproxx's SNL recaps.

It was kind of telling how the SNL40 special almost entirely focused on sketches from the early 2000s and before. Which is why I didn't like SNL40 because most of the sketches seemed to be written by the current writers, not the better writers of seasons past. The best sketches were Samberg & Sandler's digital short and Celebrity Jeopardy.

SNL hasn't been funny for over 30 years.

They really need to change up EVERYTHING. Starting with writers.

I thought it was a really bad episode. The sketches were weak and had even weaker endings...felt like they were just trying to pass the time. They didn't even use Kate McKinnon as Black Widow! Boo. At-least I got to see pretty Cecily Strong a few times. I wove her. <3

@ImKennyPowers

I enjoyed the Wayne's World sketch, maybe if only for nostalgia; been so long since we've seen them.

Sad, but true. One of the funniest things this current writing staff has done wasn't even a sketch. It was Taren re-enacting the musical guest, Robyn's, music video late one night in the writers' room. hahaha
