I like Eisenberg. Happy to hear he thinks it's "wonderful".

Jesse seems like an okay guy - who can be a little pretentious. Not a dick. More importantly, he's a great actor.

I love how it's 'Lex Luthor' making a lot of fans rage. Seems like he's doing his job right.

I like his interviews from what I've read. Doesn't seem like a false hack that's basking in the sycophantism of the interviewers.

"Even if they're saying nice things, just being shouted at by thousands of people, it's horrifying."

He does have a point.

Either way think how awkward it was for Gal, Jesse, and Ben to be on a panel in front of thousands of people who when they heard they were cast hated on them? Not a really warm and fuzzy feeling is it?

it's Josh who should do this article
I'm not sure if he watched the video with Eisenberg speaking or just read the news in HR.

I watched the video and i couldn't even see anything else beside poor choice of words.

I get awkward just talking in front of 3 people, so I couldn't even imagine having 7000 people in front of me cheering and yelling. I'd probably have a nervous breakdown

Compared to the stuff that people say to one another on this site, I can't believe people actually got up in arms about this? lol The guy is playing "Lex Luthor" he could've said it smelled really bad there and I'd still love it. Anyway, on a more honest note I'm glad he clarified this for the offended fans.

He made a poor choice of words, but I think we all exaggerate and say stupid things sometimes.

"I of course was using hyperbole to describe the sensory overload I experienced."

If you've ever been to Comic-Con, sensory overload is the perfect way to describe it. I went in 2008 at the cusp of all of the BIG movies and even then the amount of people, the constant physical contact due to too many people, the smell, the sound, you feel like Daredevil with a hangover by the end of it. I can't even imagine what it's like now in 2015 with the CBM boom.

He's an actor, he's never been in one situation where fans of his were excited to see him in real life? Doubtful.
I can understand this coming from someone who has never been in the spotlight.

Points for the Boy Meets World gif. That's my childhood right there.

On topic... Eisenberg is just weird. I saw him on Seth Meyers a couple months ago, he's just weird. No harm done with what he said.

His comments make perfect sense. Coming from a guy who usually does indies/smaller budget films it's probably a big change for him in the publicity department.

I was wondering how long until a follow up to Jesse's comment would take. With the cameras always on you just have to start thinking more before you speak. So this will only help him for the future.
