Whoa! that baby scene was so cruel and unsettling. Glad it was cut out.
The movie was perfect anyways.

Easily the best movie of 2015, anything comes close, well... until now atleast.

This movie unapologetically throws this world in your face. I like that and it was good

Still weird as hell though.

Agreed, @XF14: the third clip would have been cool to see in-movie in completed form with effects!

The only movie that can come close to topping this is Star Wars.

First scene was too dull and would have broken the pace.
Second scene had an obvious fake plastic baby.
Third scene was incomprehensible.

Glad they were cut.

@Jollem

Mindless? It actually had quite the story and message. The action was absolutely top notch though.

Scene 3 was actually kind of important to the narrative. I wondered what happened to the old lady.

These scenes would have muddled the pacing a litte, glad they cut them.

This, Rogue Nation, and Kingsman are all kind of surrounding my number one slot. All just amazing films.

Those scenes are already available when you purchase the digital version. By the the way I don't like they release the digital version one month earlier than the blu ray...

Want those deleted scenes in the DVD release..makes it darker which is good.
Fury Road was actually pretty tame showing very little actual blood,etc.
No real nudity for R-rated film either..I like mine with more sex/violence.
Still a new classic!
Pathogen

This was a fun movie, an orgy of action and visuals. But best movie of the year? C'mon. Expand your horizons, some of you. I liked it a lot, my main complaint was that I wish they hadn't turned around and gone through the canyon again. Just felt like more of the same, by that point. I was hoping for more of a build up to something cooler...and then the same type of action we'd been watching for 30 mins happened for another 20 or whatever...eh.
KingEmperor
KingEmperor - 8/17/2015, 3:00 AM
Wow, that last scene was straight-up a callback style of directing from the first two films.

@Pathogen

I was waiting for the part where you tell us what movie you thought was the best of the year so far.
