The setting is pretty nice and it has a mysterious feel to it, which is pretty awesome IMO.

FrozenMarvelite is right...the trailer at D23 was a highlight of the presentation for me.

I'm just wondering how they're going to fit Walken's contract rider stipulation where he gets to dance in every movie he's in since he's playing a CGI orangutan.

Very excited about this! I heard this was the major highlight of D23. Andy Serkis version may have some stiff competition.

@Pox motion capture Walken to the song "I wanna be like you-oo-ooh". I loved that song. Probably my favorite in the original Disney movie.

I wasn't too interested in either Jungle Book live action but those 6 seconds looked pretty damn good from a cinematography standpoint. It just depends if they can pull off the realistic animal design CGI AND mocap AND singing because that could cause the whole thing to fall apart.

@ScionStorm Haha I know, most of the things reported on, Disney especially, have been in some way related to comics or graphic novels at some point. It's just humorous when anything not wearing a costume or obviously from a comic is pounced upon by those special trolls

I'm still disappointed Favreau isn't directing the Spider-Man reboot.

So many similarities between Spidey & IM from a production standpoint I think he'd have been a great choice. Oh well. haha

@dethpillow - "saving Favreau for FF, phase 4."

I wouldn't hold my breath. Disney has enough on their plate, they don't need the F4. Besides, I think it's good that properties are spread across multiple studios so they're less similar. Granted it's better for all parties involved if studios with comic book properties make good quality films.

It took Fox a little to get the X-Men back on track, maybe they'll eventually figure out the F4.
