I am really liking her as the love interest for Barry they both have on screen chemistry that's convincing and you feel it.

@ComicsBornAndBred I don't think it's Candice Whats-Her-Face's fault. I think the real problem is that most of the uneccesary drama funnels through Iris. The 'will they won't they' of Season 1 was so annoying that I thought to myself: This is not realistic, this is not how people interact.

Patty has been solid, in that the scenes with her and Barry have a natural chemistry. I hope that the showrunners look at it and decide to stick with Patty. I mean I know Iris and Barry is 'destined' but really I don't want them shoving a square peg in a round hole, if PAtty and Barry have a good chemistry just keep with it.

Sadly I think I'm wrong.

Candice Patton doesn't deserve the hate she has been getting, especially since she can only do what the writers give her. People should be mad at the writers, and not her. It sucks for the actress, because I swear the writers like every other female character on the show more than her. Then again, Iris is the only female character that isn't a Barry groupie, so maybe that is why so many fans dont like her. Her character has made dumb decisions like every other character, but she is the only one who gets hate for it, while everybody else gets a pass.

I will say it is nice to see another actor from Attack The Block getting a heroic role in America. First Boyega is in Star Wars, and now Franz is Firestorm. Although I dont know why he isn't playing Jason Rusch, instead of this other character Jax Jefferson. Why abandon that character for another one who is pretty much going to be the same thing as Jason.
