We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features:
Director: Marc Webb
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn
Sally Field as May Parker
Campbell Scott as Richard Parker
Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker
Colm Feore as Donald Menken
Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino
Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn
Marton Csokas as Dr.Kafka
B.J. Novak as Alistair Smythe
Martin Sheen as Ben Parker
Chris Zylka as Flash Thompson
Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy
Felicity Jones in an unspecified role

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters May 2, 2014.

Really cant get behind the Goblin's look. I get what they were going for, I just don't think it was the right way to go.

I have a feeling Harry dies in this movie, and that's what drives Norman turning into the Goblin and having such a hate for Spider-Man.

We already know that at some point during this movie, Norman is back to full health, because we can hear his voice in the trailer and he sounds perfectly healthy.
JaiHo - 3/27/2014, 12:35 PM
Rhino looks cool.
Indy - 3/27/2014, 12:35 PM
Harry look like Edward Scissorhands.

Wake me, when you need me.
Comedian03 - 3/27/2014, 12:37 PM
But then again we heard that scoop about Norman's severed head being kept in a jar of some kind, and then saw the pictures of it.

So it's like he gets healthy, that's where the voiceover we hear in the trailer is from, and then at some point after his head gets cut off? I don't know, I just managed to plot out part of the movie, and then prove myself wrong, and then confuse myself, all in the span of 5 minutes, so who knows.

[frick] it, maybe Norman's severed head becomes Mysterio.

This can't come fast enough a couple weeks left^^

I love it. Gobby looks great. I love the unique take on him.
wookiefit76 - 3/27/2014, 12:44 PM
For only 4 minutes of supposed screen time, the Rhino sure does have a hell of a lot of pics and marketing.
wookiefit76 - 3/27/2014, 12:44 PM

I kid
CaptainObvious - 3/27/2014, 12:45 PM
So he's now Barely Green Goblin.
SuperCat - 3/27/2014, 12:47 PM
Green Goblin is growing on me. Rhino still looks like crap.
wookiefit76 - 3/27/2014, 12:48 PM
I'm trying to decide which Green Goblin is worse or which is better. Both are sorta good and sorta bad in their own way. I wonder if we will eventaul;ly see Norman the way he is in the comics or if they'll go the Ultimate route? With the removal of his head, maybe he gets cloned or something. No idea, but I'll ride it out.
ODSTmaster - 3/27/2014, 12:49 PM
Apparently Norman dies instead of Harry I saw it on Yahoo a few weeks back but it is Yahoo so it probably isn't true
Comedian03 - 3/27/2014, 12:49 PM
@AnnoDomini
Yeah I desperately want to know whats going on with Norman. That's one major spoiler I will read ahead of time because it's just driving me insane.

He's near death in the first movie, then in the trailer for the 2nd movie we can hear him talking and he sounds perfectly healthy, but then at some point during this movie he loses his head (literally). So he's near death, then healthy, and then dead (sort of) by the end of the movie. I don't know anymore, my brain hurts just thinking about it lol
Dandy - 3/27/2014, 12:49 PM
I'm betting Harry is chucked into an insane asylum at the end of the film. Similar to what happened in the comics.

So goblin suit is half way? will we get to see the full in green, that will be cool. I bet harry will end in ravencroft at the end.
Goblin doesnt look quit good but it does look menacing and insane.
Rhino with that final triler at him walking? running? w.e, that was pretty cool, i like rhino, sucks its just 4 mins. and from the trailer we seen half of it.
thank you sony
CuddlyCereal - 3/27/2014, 12:51 PM
Goblin looks like he's half Master Chief.
dio - 3/27/2014, 12:51 PM
Does anyone know if Giammati is permanently stuck in the suit like the comics?
Comedian03 - 3/27/2014, 12:52 PM
I cant see how Norman is going to become Goblin if the only thing left of his body is his head.

I'm thinking they'll either work him into being Mysterio, or like AnnaDomini said, some sort of weird [frick]ed up Doc Ock. But at the same time, we've already seen Doc Ock's tentacles in the trailers, and they don't look like a full body robot thing. See, this is what I mean, it's confusing as hell. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH NORMAN!!!

"I think we just found a Transformah."
Sanderman - 3/27/2014, 12:58 PM
Maybe this is the "Proto-Goblin" that we heard about long ago. I could see him easily having the full Goblin look in the next movie
UltimateHunt - 3/27/2014, 12:59 PM
his last transformation
Floke - 3/27/2014, 1:00 PM
@Cuddly: John 58.5?

And doesn't Rihno look more like Mecha-Bigbird..
campblood - 3/27/2014, 1:03 PM
that is not rhino that is a transformer / power suit
SoundWave - 3/27/2014, 1:03 PM
Goblin looks like cyborg...
Indy - 3/27/2014, 1:10 PM
@Pending
LMAO.
charlie2094 - 3/27/2014, 1:10 PM
Definitely not a final look, can see parts of green skin, even the suit itself is far from finished. No doubt if he survives TASM2 he'll return later on in the transformation with a more finished suit and being an even "greener" Goblin

Like the look of Rhino, happy with how that turned out
maninfinesuit - 3/27/2014, 1:12 PM
All this talk about poor Norman.

theowl - 3/27/2014, 1:12 PM
Can people stop?? It's the Green Goblin :P Not the proto goblin... And he will NOT transform into a goblin with a green hoddie later in the movie.

DrunkenNukem - 3/27/2014, 1:13 PM
mmmm...
JorEllinator - 3/27/2014, 1:14 PM
Still not buying David Bowie as Green Goblin, why couldn't they have just gone with a purple armour suit, with a goblin-esque transformation? Is it really all that hard?
JorEllinator - 3/27/2014, 1:15 PM
Although, Bowie Goblin has one of the best trollfaces I've ever seen.
theowl - 3/27/2014, 1:19 PM
Don't you think they would have made him look like that right away, instead of letting him transform into his true form through the END of the movie?
ComicsBornAndBred - 3/27/2014, 1:21 PM
Goblin looks [frick]ed up. Damn that serum must've did a number on him. He looks like he's half machine. Like a mix of flesh and cybernetics. Maybe the armor he wears helps keep any after taffeta or horrible residual traits of the serum from hurting him. The suit keeps the serum at bay or keeps it form altering his system negatively. Maybe its not perfected yet and Harry takes a prototype. Norman will eventually take the perfected final solution. Harry's a test run. Norman prob fake his death and observes Harry's trial run as the goblin to see how the serum works. Discover the problem( obtain Peter's blood) and make a perfected serum for Norman in the future.
JoeMomma29 - 3/27/2014, 1:23 PM
Sorry but the Rhino sucks, yea yeah hopefully this is just the beginning stage of that character.

As far as Green Goblin I actually like the look and I am confident he is just in the transformation stage of becoming a full Green Goblin. If not then this character will rank up there with Singer's X-Men.
Ryguy88 - 3/27/2014, 1:33 PM
Just curious, do some people here actually think that the rubber mask is the way to go??
