Well it seems Zack Snyder has finally constructed what appears to be Smallville High for his forthcoming Superman "Man of Steel" reboot. And is even now in the process of FILMING Clark's high school years at the Plano Centennial Elementary School!

Check out the images below...

These images look great to me! What better way to start off a Superman reboot than with Clark's high school years...

Love how they aren't making the school too big...and it seems simple and quaint just as I'd imagined it would look!

I dunno, maybe with an action scene?! :P

In all seriousness I hope they don't spend too much time in Smallville. I'd rather the movie start in Africa.

nice find lp4
LP4 - 8/1/2011, 1:57 PM
@jazzman- Hahaha thanks bro! And yeah, they might get a younger guy to portray young Clark. Cool!!!

@Dynamo- Hahaha yeah dude believe ME I know how you feel dude. Maybe they can get some jerk to pick on lana or something and have Clark beat the crap out of him :P

@nailbiter- Thank you my friend ;D the movie is looking great so far!!!
LP4 - 8/1/2011, 1:58 PM
@N- I know how you feel.

Hopefully the backstory will be a minor thing. I don't want half of the [frick]ing film to be about him in smallville trying to 'find himself'

We've had 10 goddamn years of Clark in Smallville trying to find himself.

-_-
Dynamo - 8/1/2011, 1:59 PM
@LP4
I just hope it's a quick scene, maybe part of a flashback or a montage. Aparently there's gonna be some kind of tornado so my Clark is in class when it happens?
LP4 - 8/1/2011, 2:02 PM
@Dynamo- Dude I know it won't happen, but i hope the entire school gets caught in the tornado and we see Clark doing something really amazing to stop it and save the school.

But yeah...doubtful. ;D
Supes17 - 8/1/2011, 2:02 PM
Apparently from what I read, Clark goes back to Smallville to find out about his origins and where he really came from.
LP4 - 8/1/2011, 2:07 PM
@Superman17- Oh yeah the 'Birthright' angle...hopefully that rings out to be true!

Supes17 - 8/1/2011, 2:31 PM
Kent will probably die in this....again
lmao poor Kent, allways dying
LEEE777 - 8/1/2011, 4:49 PM

i think they're going to use it for a couple of scene similar to Secret Origin Goyer admitted to using S.C. as reference material

This filming shot location looks like my high school down in the Florida-West Panhandle, I wish some of the Superman filming locations can be filmed in Destin, Panama City, and Fort Walton Beach for a Hurricane Season for Superman to save the Florida Gulf-Coast. But its up to Zack Snyder to film a Hurrican season for Henry Cavill to play Superman stopping the Tropical Storms down in the Florida Panhandle. If its mention in the script for Superman to blow his Hurrican breathe to stop the tropical storms.

@tea- Hahaha I know what you mean actually...Smallville seasons 6-10 were a complete travesty. But I always loved seasons 1-5 ;D
ScionStorm - 8/2/2011, 3:58 AM
lol TWO superheroes are going back to highschool next summer. This outta make me feel . . . old . . .
Hellsing - 8/2/2011, 7:41 AM
What better way to start off a Superman reboot than with Clark's high school years? How about Clark being in Africa being a reporter and dealing with a conflict that he can't just stop with his super strength. It honestly be dissapointing if they didn't use that bit from Birthright, show's you clark kent solve everything, oh and you actually get to see him being an reporter. He's meant to be amazing at his "normal" job but thats barely been highlighted in the movies, let see a nice rivalry between Clark and Lois develop. and please no love triangle shit between Clark Kent, Superman and Lois Lane.
JM4Superman - 8/2/2011, 8:43 AM
@LP4 Those 10 years did not do Clark Kent and Superman any justice at all. The only thing that was good about it was the Kents.
LP4 - 8/2/2011, 6:47 PM
@JM4Superman- True my friend, hopefully this minor stint back in Smallville will change those 10 years we suffered.

@Splenda- Thanks buddy!! Yeah, sick of the dawsons creek crap we had with Snoreville ;D

@JDBernal- True very true...just noticed that now. Hopefully it isn't stuck...too much in the past though. This should be a modern film after all.

@BaneKill- For the first time in a long time, i agree with you on all your points. The smallville stuff should just be minor flashbacks and god dammit Superman has GOT to fight this time. ;D
LP4 - 8/4/2011, 1:26 AM
@BaneKill- Well yeah he's fought several times but I'm saying in the movies with a decent fight. Superman: The Movie- no fight. And Superman Returns- again no fight.

Superman II was the only one. Superman 3 & 4 i don't feel...really...count. -_-
Knightstalker - 8/4/2011, 9:04 PM
I don't know about anybody else, but I noticed that Smallville High has more than one short bus. Just saying.
LP4 - 8/6/2011, 1:03 AM
@Knightstalker- Hahahahahaha very true. That...has me worried :P let's hope Clark wasn't taking a short bus then ;D
