'Watchmen' Sequel Happening? Niki Finke Says "Not a Chance!"

Niki Finke says she has just received a very trusting tip that debunk's any 'Watchmen' sequel's.
It's all over the place. 'Watchmen' sequel news. My question is why? How could there be a sequel or a prequel to the best stand alone movies in years? Comic book movie or not. Turns out my hunch may be correct.

Niki Finke says:

"But a well-placed insider tells me: "There is no truth to anything related to a movie sequel. Not a chance by a longshot. With regards to the comics, well, I guess anything is possible. I'll keep my opinion to myself as to whether it's a smart idea to do so."

even a comic book sequel is awful. UNLESS - Moore does it himself.

They'd be sending Moore a colossal kick in the balls if it ever came to fruition. He's had enough of this - and knowing him, he'd probably put a curse on anyone who watched it.

I would have loved to see the worlds that Doc Manhattan was so eager to go see without knowing in advance what they would look like... Damn those tachyon emissions. Yes... i'm being sarcastic.
