Clash of the Titans Finds its Zeus & Hades

Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes join the Clash of the Titans Cast.

Fiennes will play Hades the menacing god of the underworld who aims to take over Neeson's all powerful, all knowing, God of Thunder Zeus and father to Perseus (Sam Worthington).

Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes will play the most powerful of Gods on each side of good and evil in the remake of the Classic "Clash of the Titans," directed by Incredible Hulk reboot master Louis Leterrier.

Liam and Ralph join Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos in this remake which begins filming at the end of April in the U.K.

Yeah, I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose my wife so young; man, I don't even want to think about it. My heart goes out to the guy and his family. He will be an awsome Zeus though, couldn't happen to a better guy taking over for the great Olivier. Bless you Liam and your sons.

this movie has great blockbuster potential if done right. and liam neeson is truly a great actor. His voice is worthy to be that of the King of the Gods

Liam's wife, Natasha Richardson died in a skiing accident this year, that's what Keven means by rough year. On a side note, Have any of you played Fallout 3? I swear it's Liam who is the voice of your father in that game.

When was Clash of the Titans a comic? This site is struggling for articles. Mads Mikkelsen has been cast also he is a stellar additiion.It's starting to not sound like a remake though, Hades was never in CofT.
Whoever wrote the article doesn't know his stuff, Hades wasn't evil and never fought against his brother Zeus. Hades was a passive god who gave balance to the realms.

I think it's on here cuz Liam was in Batman Begins. They tend to follow the success of actors that were in comic book movies. so that would be the logic behind that lol how about Brad Pitt for Perseus. Not Nick Cage lol he's starting to act like Steven Segal.... which btw... i think the Kryptonite to Chuck Norris may be Steven Segal lol just my thought.

Perfecto casting. Leonardshelby if its sci fi or fantasy related it gets a pass..and im glad it does!

I dont remember Hades in the original either,,maybe they are replacing Calibos (the horned Demon dude) with Hades as the Villain or something

I agree with Leonard...i'm a total greek mythology freak...hades is not exactly evil he was just handed a crappy deal when the realms of heaven, the sea and the underworld were put up for grabs...either way nice cast but seriously does Ralph always have to be the evil magical/mythical dude...jeez

I want to see him in BatMan 3 big big time like so huge , i mean just imagine how big that would be! Bring on the Lazarus Pit and dont make it a medical procedure Nolan!!!!! make it a true mystical experience! and let BAtMan and Raz fall in it after an EPIC Battle and let them rise even fiercer and more deadly!!!!!!! Liams wife was a good woman too. My GrandMother the Matriarch of my Mothers Family who's name was Anna Maria Aguilar Veloz (Soaring Eagle) funeral service was yesterday. A great woman whom my Father said was a Perfect Woman has passed and now takes the lead into the Ether Realms to open the doors for the rest of us! aho!!! (a-ho is a term of praise and confirmation for the native peoples of america).

Well, Hades actually helped Perseus according to Myth by giving to him one of the three gifts that aided in the smiting of the Gorgon, Medusa. The writers of the original Clash of the Titans severly edited the content and story of myth. So you probably would see some "corrections" in a new one. But I must admit, I enjoyed (and still do) the original. Great casting!

I guess the reason Clash of the Titans are mentioned here on this site because several of their characters do have comicbook tie-ins. Zesus,Medusa,and a few others....anyway I remeber seeing this movie as a kid I thoght it was GREAT.I cant wait to see how they improved it from 20-30yrs ago.

Most of us are showing our age just by having a point of reference for this movie. That aside, this movie has all the potential to be an absolute blockbuster if done correctly. I'm very excited to see this remake, probably even more so than a lot of the movies with direct comic book tie-ins.

WHAT THE HELL DARTHSTERN! I don't get this Nic Cage shit that it seems a bunch of people on this site are going through but let it go. Nic Cage is only good in certain roles and that is because he can only play one role. Remember Face-Off great movie, great role for Cage but every movie he is in he plays that role. Can we please just leave Cage out of movies with potential to be good.

We're talking about clash cause its cool! Where do you think comic books got their model for a society of heroes and gods anyway? Some ancient gods are part of the comicbook mythos themselves.

Ray Fiennes would be a great Loki as well.

Went to Target, Best Buy, and Costco today. No Clash of the Titans. The bastards pulled it off the shelves already. No doubt to re-release it with useless easter eggs and three times the price in anticpation to this new vision's advent.
