What about the Airforce? You didn't thank the Airforce?!? You sick bastard.

That Cap cover where he's humping a skeleton of himself looks so stupid.
Keven - 7/1/2009, 1:01 PM
they're all pretty bad keven. especially the Quesada one where he's taking a dump, lol
CorndogBurglar - 7/1/2009, 1:07 PM
Keven, I say with great sincerity, you have an impressive wit. However... you are very juvenile... oh, how about the cover where he's trying to drop a deuce, but he's constipated. lol

I can honestly say this is the first Alex Ross cover I have ever seen that I don't like.
TheMyth - 7/1/2009, 1:08 PM
Dammit Corndog, lol, you posted while I was typing.
TheMyth - 7/1/2009, 1:09 PM
yeah - check out some more juvenile'ness - if you look at the Cap cover where he's struggling to release a Cap load - there's a bump that appears to be either a) cap's tip of the donk or b) the Capload is emerging.
Keven - 7/1/2009, 1:12 PM
lol he does look like hes droppin a deuce
Makiveli21 - 7/1/2009, 1:12 PM
well, i just ordered the Bryan Hitch cover off of ebay so that was my favourite cover-the alex ross one is pretty crap though. I would have bought the cassidy cover but it was being sold for like 8x the price of Hitch's so im happy with what i got, lol.
joshw24 - 7/1/2009, 1:14 PM
also - the 2nd from the left cover? Looks like Cap just got loads dropped all over his bad self from various Ghostbusters II ghosts - dropping that fairy pink slime all over his moaning ressurected a$$.

Keven - 7/1/2009, 1:16 PM
how come none of them have either jensen ackles or jason lewis on the cover? whats up with that?
superdog - 7/1/2009, 1:24 PM
I could possibly start getting back into Marvel again. I loved the Civil War, but then Cap dying, and the destruction of Spider-Man, I just felt sick. Lately I've been collecting all of the Ultimate universe. Perhaps this will be a turning point for me... :P
screams - 7/1/2009, 1:27 PM
@ TheMyth

lol, sorry, its kinda obvious to me! he's definately squeezing something out. but yeah, akex ross is a god among comic artists, i can't believe he would make something that horrible for something so important
CorndogBurglar - 7/1/2009, 1:29 PM
@ Screams

Dark reign has been pretty cool depending on the books you get. i'm looking forward to x-men vs dark avengers
CorndogBurglar - 7/1/2009, 1:31 PM
Kevin, you are an idiot. He is not humping a skeleton. The "skeleton" is actually Steve Rogers pre-super soldier serum, it is just a skinny kid.

[frick]ing idiots. Go READ a comic book.
saymekian - 7/1/2009, 1:42 PM

superdog - 7/1/2009, 1:48 PM

i guess you don't know a joke when you see one. like i don't know he's not "taking a dump" on the cover. i believe your the idiot
CorndogBurglar - 7/1/2009, 1:50 PM
BAM IN YOUR FACE SAYMEKIAN
superdog - 7/1/2009, 1:57 PM
Cool!!!
LEEE777 - 7/1/2009, 2:04 PM
Just bought the black and white version of the one where he is "humping the skeleton" which is actually a depiction of Steve Rogers when he was still a puny little man; as said previous by Sayemekian.
The story is actually quite interesting and already involves many great characters and plot twists.

@Corndog

The X-men/Dark Avengers series is really good so far. I got the first one and the second part has just been released. If your aware or not the title of it is called Utopia.

On another note, of these poop jokes and what not are repetitive and redundant. Someone needs new material. Consult a pile of dirt is my recommendation, it is much funnier rather then this retard humor.
VenomIsOnMyRibs - 7/1/2009, 2:09 PM
Just picked up my copy today! Thanks to all our troops in every faction of the military. Steve Rogers always represents!
icebergslick - 7/1/2009, 2:12 PM
BAM, in your face... Oh, hi LEEE!
adamant877 - 7/1/2009, 2:12 PM
Hey screams,

I may not have liked the mechanism for what they did with Spiderman, but the writing for Brand New Day and beyond has made for some of the best spiderman stories ever. Try reading a few, destroying the character is the last thing they did, they simply brought him back to what spidey was intended to be in the first place, and it's truly AMAZING.(And getting an installment almost every week is indescribably cool!)
mwmcintyre - 7/1/2009, 2:20 PM
gotta agree man BRAND NEW DAY is awesome, especially this "American son" arc is flat out awesome!
VenomIsOnMyRibs - 7/1/2009, 2:22 PM
American Son is fantastic!! SPOILER - Does anyone else think that Harry spotted Peter's face when Norman was pulling the mask off? - END SPOILER. I dont like how BND came about but the majority of stories so far have been brilliant! The best part is that the 2 and 3 part stories are great but when they have the larger arcs like Character Assasination or New Ways to Die they actually feel like event type stories! If i had to choose a regular team on the book though it would be Dan Slott and Marcos Martin - both are excellent.
joshw24 - 7/1/2009, 2:27 PM
Adament quite stealing my material :)
superdog - 7/1/2009, 2:36 PM
Maybe I should change my name to -

TattoosIsonMyarmsAndBack.

Cause I'm so smart and such a bad@ss. And Maybe I'll change my picture to a collage of all my various tattoos like anyone here gives a sh!t.

@ saymekian

You're so hot you little piece of brillant knowledge you. You make me feel so unfathomly stupid.
Keven - 7/1/2009, 2:40 PM
@ VenomIsOnMyRibs

Is it?? i haven't been to my shop in a few weeks, i need to go. i've been pumped for it ever since that picture of Iron Patriot holding a beaten cyclops over his head was released. Cyclops is my favorite character so i'm hoping this is AWESOME!

LEEE777 - 7/1/2009, 3:09 PM
Yes, Jason Lewis is there, just below Caps crotch..on his knees...;)..sorry couldnt resist. If its any consolation, judging by Caps face, hes doing a good job!
Rorschach01 - 7/1/2009, 3:12 PM
@corndogburglar
I wasn't even talking to you. It kind of does look like he is taking a dump, although it is still great artwork.

@Keven
Thanks! And leave Venomisonmyribs alone. At least his avatar for COMICBOOKmovie.com is a COMIC BOOK character. Terminator blows.
saymekian - 7/1/2009, 3:35 PM
ROR: I think on his knees, around men's crotches is where Lewis spends most of his time isnt it, lol? A message to LEE from his friend Jason Lewis, Photobucket
Thanks to Shaman for the pic!

joshw24 - 7/1/2009, 3:39 PM
yeah - i wouldn't want to discriminate against a dude with a venom is licking my chest tat.

Keven - 7/1/2009, 3:55 PM
cause that's not g@y at all. Maybe I'll get a big tat of Mr Fantastic wrapping his crotch around my bellybutton.

that's about as hetero as a KISS tat of Gene Simmons directly above a dude's nip.

come on.
Keven - 7/1/2009, 4:12 PM

@ saymekian

i know you weren't talking to me, but everyone knows cap's origin, man. no need to talk noise to people for making a joke. and yes, Joey Q has always been a favorite artist of mine for some reason, but that picture of him squatting is god awful.

@ROR

LOLOL. yeah, he's doing a damn fine job.

CorndogBurglar - 7/1/2009, 4:41 PM
LEE: nah, ill leave that sort of thing for Lewis of you dont mind-though i suspect when he's near a mans ass he has more explicit ideas than just kissing it...

CaptainAmerica - 7/1/2009, 7:03 PM
spoilers ahead for reborn #1 -
eastwood for fury...the 1st reborn issue is one i didnt like cuz the resurrection concept still bugs me...shud have left steve dead...bucky is sick as cap!!..this whole steve stuck in time shite is lame..sorry bru..u mucked it up here for me...just like bruce bein stuck in time and space at the end of final crisis..the only cool time travelling issue i read recently was when loki went back and actually faked being odin's dad to get odin to adopt him...that rocked...the rogers deal aint cuttin it
Anil Rickly - 7/1/2009, 9:37 PM
Keven your so easily disgruntled, tone it down a notch no? I actually do have tattoo's on my arms and back just Venom is my favorite and I feel I share much in common with the character.(You seem very interested to know I'll show you sometime) OBVIOUSLY its not that you care, it's that I feel like telling you something you don't care about.
Cracking a joke about a screen name is rather futile in that your opinion is always based upon sarcasm and no one takes an ass seriously. Don't "internet battle" me its stupid and I am free to voice my opinion as are you. If I were to say something about your Terminator face thing? I guess that's what it is, it would not pertain in any manner to the conversation at hand, it is a cheap shot and a low attempt at humor of any kind that just reaches beyond the peripheral wall and into area out of bounds of said conversation in order to attempt to en flame my anger, which again is just stupid.. Good day.
VenomIsOnMyRibs - 7/1/2009, 10:23 PM
@ Corndog

I haven't seen that picture sounds sick though. The one I have has the Dark Avengers assembled upon a hill top with a bunch of the X-men beaten at their feet. But yes I know the first 2 issues are out the second doubles as a piece of the Uncanny X-men series and Dark Avengers. Go check it out are your local shop I'm sure they have it. The end of #1 by the way will, well I don't want to say "blow your mind" but most certainly leave it in a knot going "WHAT THE F*CK!"
VenomIsOnMyRibs - 7/1/2009, 10:26 PM
Air Force shoutout from Bahgram. Thanks for keeping me up to date fellas.
tacpBAMF - 7/1/2009, 10:37 PM
Thanks for the words of support. I am in inthe Navy stationed in Iraq. I wish I could talk about what I do, but there is something they taught us called opsec(operational Security). I am here supporting the Army. At least I can say that much. I want to say thanks to the national guard. Also, a shout out to all my other Armed Forced brothers out there supporting the various missions out there. I don't care if you are digging a hole to take a Sh_t while getting shot at. Your job is still important. Sometimes the junior enlisted get crapped on. You guys are the backbone to the military. We could'n't get it done with you guys or girls. I was there once in your place.
Thanks.
Scorpioxfactor - 7/2/2009, 1:07 AM
Ok. Cap. I always say, I have been collecting Cap comics since 1977. I have all of his books except for being out here, I haven't been able to get anything. I will though. But, that Cap movie if done right will be way sweet. I am totally looking forward to a great movie with good special effects, good driving plot, a little drama, but not too much to make people go BLEH! A good villian as well. Red Skull in a couple scenes, then Baron Zemo at the end. Also cameos by Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos. I think to show the Invaders would be cool, but I would be hoping for too much. Maybe a pic of them on the cover of a newspaper? Ok Thanks to you all for reading my posts. Love you people. Your posts are entertaining and educational. Helps me keep my sanity. Thank again.

"reaches beyond the peripheral wall and into area out of bounds" - VenomIsonMyRibs.

sounds like you had some fun last night with the homeboys there Eddie Brock? So you have lots in common with the character? You have Cancer? You tried to k!ll yourself? You have a sweet blonde mullet?

Or you have a long ass tongue? You were created by Todd Mcfarlane? You hate someone named Peter and or Parker?

What the hell are you talking about?
Keven - 7/2/2009, 9:04 AM
Kev...
Kyos - 7/2/2009, 9:35 AM

fraction has a brilliant crossover planned...who is this xavier that norman has?...who is the one in the cell?
Anil Rickly - 7/2/2009, 10:21 AM
the only way to make the real super soldier serum that was injected into steve rogers is to extract the blood from chuck norris
cbsmitty2 - 7/2/2009, 10:39 AM
@ Keven (Sorry everyone else for continuing this)

This is just getting really stupid as you're now knit picking. The phrase you sighted is more of a philosophical nature than anything that is used to explain your meager attempts at a discussion. Me and my buddies? No, it took my mind merely by itself. My mind goes beyond the realm of poop jokes and sarcastic medleys of mediocrity, thanks for the compliment though I must have mind of many.

Really, if you must know the way I feel in touch with Eddie Brock is his nature. Venom is a symbol of Eddie's inner beast that has not been unleashed until he came in contact with a symbiotic body that brought it out. No Keven I do not have a symbiote so hold the quip for later. But I do in fact have blond hair and no not a mullet pretty sure Eddie no longer has one either. You do not have to share diseases in order to relate to the character, stature, or anything physical. Relation means to relate to behavior and emotion put into action. If you really remain infatuated with me and my relations to Eddie Brock just let me know.
VenomIsOnMyRibs - 7/2/2009, 11:44 AM
lol "poop jokes"

no actually kevens right dude you sound kinda lame comparing yourself to venom.

besides everyone knows the correct answer for "character with a beast inside him" is wolverine.
Makiveli21 - 7/2/2009, 12:01 PM
Ok. At the risk of flaming this little quarrel more: Keven. You're going to try and jab at someone because of their screenname and avatar? REALLY? With a pic like the one you have? Wow....

Anyway.....I really liked Brand New Day. As far as the Cap movie goes, I just really hope that it tells a great story with some depth of character. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for action and explosions and the such but, I'm really sick of some of these movies relying only on the SpFX and not focusing on fleshing out a character.
dizzle716 - 7/2/2009, 12:55 PM
I am not comparing myself to I was simply saying I enjoy the character his background, his menacing persona, and his characteristics. I am not Venom in any way, no shit. He is a fictional character yes I am aware. The reason his name is even Venom because a venom is like a poison in Brock's mind; a play on words if you will. Wolverine is the more literal "beast" if you want to say. Beast in the manner I was using it was something brutal full of hate and without conscious and care for others. Not trying to get into semantics I understand what your saying. Over this though it's my tattoo I like it no one asked you [frick] off. Get on with the world.
VenomIsOnMyRibs - 7/2/2009, 1:32 PM
Hey, come on, lets be fair here, there is nothing wrong with a few occasional poop/dick/fart jokes. And leave venomonmyribs alone, he likes his tattoo there is no crime in that. But that being said it is kinda lame explaining it by feeling that you have alot in common with Venom. Just say you love your ink and leave it at that.
Dchaos666 - 7/2/2009, 1:37 PM
i was a communicator in the marines. not stationed anywhere, got out dec 07
droopy1317 - 7/2/2009, 1:50 PM
lol.

you blew my mind with those big words hombre.

(stands up and claps at computer).

@ Dizzle - why should 'I be the one to talk' with my pic/avatar/name?

lol. My name is "Keven" - and that's my face. I did the terminator thing when T4 was all over the place - much like a bunch of other guys on this board did too. I just haven't changed it cause I'm lazy. Should I change my screen name to "KevenIsMyName".

you boner.
Keven - 7/2/2009, 2:16 PM
my statement above is hilarious - cause i refer to my pic as being 'my actual face' -

lol.

well - it used to be.

BUT NOW I AM REBORN.

HUMPERDIDO DOOOOOOOOOO!
Keven - 7/2/2009, 2:31 PM
lol you realized how dumb your picture was
CaptainAmerica - 7/2/2009, 4:00 PM

darthstern - 7/2/2009, 11:45 PM
I know he doesn't need any help, and I'm trying not to give him any, but Keven isn't that bad. I think some people are just really sensitive...
TucsonRican - 7/3/2009, 9:11 AM
No Keven needs to just pull the stick out of his ass. He does knit pick at a lot of what everyone says and it gets annoying.
