It's in a house? Is it the one with the red truck, the one with the green roof, or the one with the little blue car?

BATMAN!!!!!!!! but as good as the Joker was in 89' ... It was still Jack Nicolson as the Joker. It wasnt the Joker as we knew it. And honestly that movie was the beginning of Comic Book Movies going the complete opposite of the the Comic Book Counterparts. Michael Keaton was small and un-obtrusive, Joker was Large and wealthy. Not like the comics. Not like that. Either way though i loved it. But i saw the future and the fut=ure looked Clooney-ish. By the way George Clooney is a great actor and even better public persona.

Its a two story building. Hey Myth I dont know what color the roof is cause I dont care. Also soon to come, its the one with the batmobile parked outside. Lee, you will get to see namor and aquaman in the next couple of weeks we get more into what the museaum has as far as comic books, silver and golden age and also Alan's collection of action figures, its crazy what he has collected the amount is mind boggling.

Hey, Jman. Thanks for posting a pic of the exterior of the Hall of Heroes. I've been wondering how much the building actually looked like the Hall of Justice and man, it is spot on! Did the building come like that or did he have it built/remodeled to look like that? Either way, Allen is a super-cool guy and I can't wait to visit. Once again, great job by you and Johnny! :)

I guess if seeing a ton of shit that you can't see any where else or that you will never own yourself is boring.

Allen had it built to look like the hall of justice:) Look forward to seeing you and any CBM.com users at the Hall of Heroes!

Wonder what kind of price that printing press would fetch - that truly is something you just can't buy!

I seriously thought the tour guide was gonna slide down the pole as Robin. Damn I could spend all day there lookin' at all that stuff. What does this Allen fellow do for a living to afford to build that place and supply it with all those collectibles?

Hey Comic Movie Fans

I wanted to answer some of your questions regarding the Hall of Heroes Museum. The #1 questions seems to be how did I afford all of this cool stuff. I have owned and operated several of my own busineses. I used to own my own comic book publishing company and I currently own a Real Estate Firmw hich does fairly well but I have also been collecting for over 30 years and have friends in the business that have hooked me up with some cool stuff over the years. The Museum itself was custome built 3 years ago to be a perfect replica of the Hall of Justice and no there is not any Aquaman or Namor items in the bathroom but they do have their own sections here in the museum. The Hall of Heroes Museum features the complete 70 year history of Super Heroes in comics, toys, film, and animation and is the only museum of it's kind in the world. I enjoy sharing it with you the fans both in this documentary and in person if you are able to visit and see it for yourself. Please post any questions you have on the museum and I will be happy to answer them.

Thanks
Super Al

Jman, I asked cause I looked it up on google earth to see how far it is, only a few hours, but on GE it's vague and only has it singled down to 3 buildings. Don't be a deuche.
jman1977
jman1977 - 8/31/2009, 11:29 AM
deuche says: mayby be a little more specific in your question myth, and then youl get a lot better of a response. Hopefully youll come out and see the museaum for yourself. We did a good job of covering it but Allen adds stuff every week so it is totally worth it espically if you are only a couple hours away. Also think about going to the Portage IMAX theater, it would be great if we could interview you at one of our outings. Let me know.

lol, yea I should have better clarified the question above, I had a spot of generalized anxiety hit me lol. It is only about 300 miles from me in Western KY, and I'm making a trip soon to Houghton Lake Michigan for family later this year and this museum is on the way. I just have to see it at least for what the building is replicated after! Way cool stuff. I have a friend who I collect comics with. He is 50+ years old, but a great guy. He has an entire building in his backyard that is almost the size of my house shelved floor to ceiling, all four walls, with comics. he has multiple copies of X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers etc... all #1's, FULL COLLECTIONS it is astounding. I love to see collections of comics and related material.

Question: Al said there are rooms and shrines dedicated to all heroes and comics. Naturally I'd like to know... What does the X-Men section look like?
jman1977
jman1977 - 8/31/2009, 9:33 PM
Myth, I'm not Al, and Im sure he will respond to you, but I would like to say, you'll see:) We,v got 6 more parts to show, the X-Men section is one of them
TheMyth
TheMyth - 9/1/2009, 12:14 AM
Jman, I can't wait, if it is half as impressive as the Batman collection I'll have a nerdgasm. He has some very interesting things. The Shakespeare bust had to be one of the best, just because I've never seen one beyond when my dad showed me the old TV series, I'm only 27 but I knew immediately what it was when he picked it up. After that it had to be the printing plate from that 70's Batman cover. Both one-of-a-kind comic artifacts and are priceless in my opinion. I can't remember, did he say if that bust was actually from the set?
HallofHeroes
HallofHeroes - 9/1/2009, 11:11 AM
Myth

The Shakespeare bust unfortunately is not the original one from the show. DC did a limited high end exclusive replica of these and we have one of them but they are hard to find and pricey. Definelty come out for a visit when you are visiting Michigan we are only a few miles from the Michigan state line. You will love our X-Men section lots of figures, toys, and statues. Looking forward to meeting you.

Awesome, it'll be a month or so before I can make the trip. Probably around October. My son is due in November so we want to try to hit it before then.

Yea, just the shear rarity and obscure nature of such an artifact, it's phenomenal that you'd have one.
