Well Roar, you'd have to be a fan of the show way back then. I didn't have cable as a kid and by some miracle, Astroboy played every freakin morning :) It was glorious!!! And this movie is doing just as much justice to the source material as they did to TMNT!!! STELLAR BABY, YEAH!!!

BLADE4040 - 3/25/2009, 1:19 PM
Yea I agree DBZ should've probally been done CGI along with the JLA and the Avengers.I mean if for some reason they cant get it together live action the next best thing is CGI.I've always wondered why most CGI movies are never the superheores we grew up reading about. They usually get these lame-o cartoons that dont do the comic no justice.Check out the disney cartoons or video games TURNED movies its usually done CGI.Final fantasy is a good example....I'd love to see the JLA done this way.
CRUSH - 3/25/2009, 1:23 PM
I'm sure they will do Bone like this !!
Minotauro - 3/25/2009, 2:04 PM
well BLADE4040 - After Avatar, all movies will be made in CGI!...
Supermike - 3/25/2009, 2:13 PM
Man all COMIC BOOK movie need to be made like these hell The dark knight would of been 100 percent kickass if it was done like these
FalconX2 - 3/25/2009, 3:04 PM
Apparently Supermike's favorite movie must have been Final Fantasy: Spirits Within! Haha

These trailers look epic!
JeremyBentham - 3/25/2009, 4:09 PM

@realfirstavenger

The creator of megmaman was inspired by Astroboy = )
but yeah I agree a Megaman movie would be awesome as long as they dont make him sound like a chick = \
THEHAWK - 3/25/2009, 5:10 PM
I have never heard of this. Whats going on.There is something wrong with the site, I don't like change!!
~_~
NoobMike - 3/25/2009, 6:51 PM
Damn, Astro Boy.....this gets me extremely excited.

Looks amazing, the only problem I have is with his voice, but I don't mind that much. This is a true homage to Astroboy, and yes he is untouchable in Japan same as Doraemon (thank god, otherwise Fox would have casted Halley Joel Osment, don't know how to spell it, and get it directed by Ratner).
THEHAWK - 3/25/2009, 9:28 PM
Noob you spelled it right
NoobMike - 3/25/2009, 9:32 PM
LOL, that is scary, I subconciously know how to spell that stupid kids name
TheSoulEater - 3/25/2009, 11:31 PM
Freddie Highmore's American voice is done really well
SGA - 3/26/2009, 12:01 AM
I agree SoulEater...This movie just blew my brains out...looks so kick ass.
DBZalltheway - 3/26/2009, 3:18 AM

BmanHall - 3/26/2009, 6:22 AM
CRUSH said: "This is how they should of done Dragonball"

My thoughts exactly!
CRUSH - 3/26/2009, 8:22 AM
I was just thinkin', they should make a cgi animatation "The Legend of ZELDA" movie, instead of putting out some bullshit live-action flop.

MCMLXXXII - 3/26/2009, 8:39 AM
imagine if they'd done this in live action, that highmore kid would have been half-naked for half the movie.. a little too weird.. a lot of the manga/anime stuff would work a lot better in, CGI a point so effectively illustrated by Dragon Ball Evolution..
MCMLXXXII - 3/26/2009, 8:48 AM
and what does evolution got to do with Dragon Ball anyway?
guess they just wanted to show distinction with movie and the manga/anime.. which is a good thing 'coz the anime was awesome, the movie not so much..
BmanHall - 3/26/2009, 9:02 AM
I remember the first trailer I saw for DBE. I new it was going to be bad from the very beginning.
