This doesn't really line up with the scene description though. That claimed this was a fight scene but that looks much more like the end of the film with Thor returning to Asgard while Tony and Steve walk off to discuss the new SHIELD

@DEVLIN

That's what I was thinking too.

Devlin-well maybe not the new shield since in AOS, coulson is now director and he wants to start it as a small organization so maybe its about adding some new recruits to the team

@ezio

That's why I don't understand the complaint about Cap's fighting style in Avengers

He was a old school brawler, he wasn't really trained in anything, he just did what he know
It was till after being with Shield and learning their fighting styles and other things, is when he became this badass fighter in TWS

Cap looks pretty buffed up in that suit, probably the biggest he ever looked

Great job on the costume

This is just a nitpick but I like when Cap has his shield on his back. Other than that, just watching the Big Three casually walking and talking made me all creamy!

What if the recruits are like Fury's team from Secret Invasion?

Yea, this looks like the end of the movie. I wonder how Thor travels to Asgard. Does he fly there or does Heimdall use the Bifrost? Cap and Tony are awfully close to Thor if he is summoning the Bifrost.

BoneSawIsReady - 6/15/2014, 2:09 PM
Agree withy the above - Thor is ascending to Asgard in this scene.

It doesn't look like a formal goodbye, however.

"He was a old school brawler, he wasn't really trained in anything, he just did what he know.It was till after being with Shield and learning their fighting styles and other things, is when he became this badass fighter in TWS."

This^^ Were people expecting Cap to become a master of mixed martial arts over-night in the Avengers. Makes sense for his development. He's learning as he goes. If you look at the first film, he was just brawns, pure strength with no fighting style. Threw his shield most of the time. In the Avengers, he was more acrobatic and fast. In TWS is was a mixture all those things he's learned in previous films. If Cap just suddenly become a badass fighter in the Avengers, I'd have called bullshit on that.

Why couldn't it be the bifrost? That lights up as well.

JOJO-yeah exactly,in Cap 1 it was just kind of brawling,in Avengers he has some pretty cool acrobatics and moves especially the one jump in which he curls himself into a ball with the shield in front of him just before the chitauri bomb goes off and in TWS, he is THE super soldier now..it seems like a good progression to me
BoneSawIsReady
BoneSawIsReady - 6/15/2014, 2:12 PM
It appears the ground where Thor is standing is darker than the rest of the grass which is consistent with Bifrost markings

You've never heard of the "Big Three" before? First, it was Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Hulk. Now, it's Iron Man, Cap, and Thor.

Yep guys

I'm sure we're going to see more Cap fighting style from TWS in avengers 2

I don't care what ppl say I still really enjoyed captain America first avenger
That type of movie is what I grew up on back in the days(Indiana Jones, the rocketeer)
TChalla

Yeah, it doesn't look like a "goodbye, i'm headed back to Asgard" becuase they were just talking and then Thor says something turns around and BOOM he's gone. The way Stark and Cap looked at each other after that? Idk why

They are the big three of the avengers you dipshit trolls

And then from the pics these 3 were talking to the "recruits" so I dont think he went back to Asgard. He might not go back until Thor 3.

Thor needs to god blast the shit out of Ultron. Marvel Studios seems to think his only power is lightning.
