Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

Hail Feige;) Seriously, this guy is a genius for creating the MCU. People give him a lot of flak but you gotta give him credit where it's due. I can't wait for SDCC even though I'm not going-.- [frick] everybody who's going.
KINGPEN266 - 7/15/2014, 3:35 PM

Nomadic1 - 7/15/2014, 3:43 PM

MrBlackjack - 7/15/2014, 3:47 PM
Eh, 3D... [frick] off! I can't remember the last time it was worth seeing a film in 3D.
TheAbaryMan369 - 7/15/2014, 3:47 PM
I bet that scene with Ronan involves him going crazy and pretending he is Thanos.
MrBlackjack - 7/15/2014, 3:51 PM
*3D can [frick] off, not Feige. Feige's the man.
McNyagano - 7/15/2014, 3:54 PM
Mmmm I'm not really a fond of 3D but I have no choice when I watch it again the second time. £rd time I'm watching it in 2D.
Doopie - 7/15/2014, 4:07 PM
This was a really nice interview. What happens when Kevin no longer wants to run the MCU though?
JoJo1982 - 7/15/2014, 4:09 PM
@ McNyagano

Aww thats cold blooded lol
EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 4:10 PM
Bradley Cooper is phucking awesome as Rocket, he has this New York/Jersey accent and alot of the time you completely forget its him voicing him,sometimes his voice comes out but most of the time, it doesnt even sound like him..Vin diesel as Groot was quite good too.u did hear different inflections in his voice and Chris Pratt was really good as Star Lord too, he was badass,charismatic and endearing but he was also kinda naive and gullible too,Drax was hilarious and awesome too
sKeemAn - 7/15/2014, 4:13 PM
Ronan on porcelain throne looking like a boss!
EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 4:14 PM

AlexanderLykins - 7/15/2014, 4:29 PM
Kevin Feige is [frick]ing hilarious. He's so darn goofy.
0megaDaGod - 7/15/2014, 4:38 PM
There are only a few people who's interviews I can sit thru

Fiege's are always one of them. Dude doesn't just get the movie stuff well, but the way he talks about comics so intricately always brings a warmth to his words

And the shit they're doing with GOTG is just pure madness

EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 4:39 PM
can i see this right now?,pleaseee,i would give my left nut for it
0megaDaGod - 7/15/2014, 4:43 PM
And is it just me, or are there very odd coincidences in which certain lines of dialogue always match up? There was the "put on the suit/we're leaving" parallel between Avengers and IM3, and there was the "are you nuts/are you mad?" parallel between Avengers and Thor TDW. Not sure if there was one for TWS

EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 4:56 PM
Ronan in the first pic" well ,i am waiting to accuse some motherfrickers!!
EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 5:11 PM
man, Comic Con is going to be NUTS next week!!!!!!!!
capsicle - 7/15/2014, 5:12 PM
I swear if groot sacrifices himself for rocket in the finale I will lose it.
EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 5:17 PM
August is gonna be awesome too, Guardians and Doctor Who in the same month,FRICK YEAH!!!
NovaCorpsFan - 7/15/2014, 5:20 PM
@capsicle
Groot can be regrown and Rocket regrows him all the time anyway.
capsicle - 7/15/2014, 5:32 PM
@NovaCorpsFan
I know I've read it but just imagining how the general audience might take it and the friendship between the two could be portrayed, it's just incredible to think about how people can relate to these characters that are strangely relatable.
StarYeezus - 7/15/2014, 5:33 PM
@0mega

Yeah, I definitely caught that the first time he said 12 percent in the trailer.
EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 5:59 PM
what characters are u looking forward to seeing Guardians the most?

FOR ME!!!

Heroes-Chris Pratt as Star Lord and Bradley Cooper as Rocket

Side characters-Benicio Del Toro as Taneleer Tivan/The Collector and Michael Rooker as Yondu

Villains-Lee Pace as Ronan and Karen Gillan as Nebula
EzioKenway1225 - 7/15/2014, 6:08 PM
TURK-why do u come to GOTG article if u have no interest in seeing it, if u are a TRUE fan of The MCU,u should be supporting this but no u are too much of an idiot to understand that
seamuskeaneart - 7/15/2014, 6:16 PM
oh so Groot "dies" at the end!
mgeoff88 - 7/15/2014, 6:23 PM
@Ezio There is no point in trying to talk some sense into Turk. He is a dumbass.
Canary - 7/15/2014, 7:00 PM
Has Christian Bale's wife had her baby yet???
Titanace - 7/15/2014, 7:04 PM
Turk.....not cool.
Equivocal - 7/16/2014, 1:59 AM
2 more weeks !

NoAssemblyReqd - 7/16/2014, 4:08 AM
Remember the glut of space opera adventures that came during the early 80s, post-STAR WARS? Hollywood pretty much shunned the genre after that. It's great to see money being spent on this type of movie again (even in the wakr of JOHN CARTER, which I liked but which flopped hard).
marvelstudios - 7/16/2014, 6:40 AM
I'm confused are the Netflix shows in the MCU or not?

Please be in the MCU!!!
JohnCarter - 7/16/2014, 6:46 AM
@marvelstudios

Yes, they are.
Dandy - 7/16/2014, 8:22 AM
Feige is a boss. Marvel's very own Walt Disney.
