Principal photography on Marvel's Ant-Man passed the halfway mark some weeks ago, as revealed by director Peyton Reed, but recent casting notices indicate there are some extras-heavy scenes to be filmed in and around Fayetteville, Georgia. Thanks to a heads up via Vixen Varsity, casting calls from the New Life Casting agency reveals Ant-Man is currently seeking the following for scenes to be filmed on Monday, November 10: "Rough and tough looking males of Latin descent that are between the ages of 24 – 34 and that can play the role of a gang member; caucasian male softball players of Irish descent (redheads a plus) that are between the ages of 24 -34; male softball players of latin descent that are between the ages of 24 -34; Latino kids ages 4-7; and caucasian male bartenders that are between the ages of 20 – 30." In addition, the Marvel production is also searching for "females age 18 - 28 that look similar to the ladies in these pictures [below]," featuring singers Rihanna and Gwen Stafani, as well as rapper Iggy Azalea. This particular casting call urges those interested to list "Iggy" as the subject of an email containing "current headshots and body shots along with your name, age, phone number, height and weight." Could the Fancy rapper have a role in Ant-Man? Probably not, but her manager, Clifford "T.I." Harris, certainly has a role. Anyhow, check the source for details. What do you think?

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris, John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film will release July 17, 2015
