James Gunn Shares Cool GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY BTS Photos; Teases Unnoticed Easter Eggs
Hit the jump and check out several Guardians of the Galaxy behind-the-scenes pics that James Gunn has posted to Instagram, and the director has also teased Easter eggs that have gone unnoticed.
In anticipation of the Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-ray/DVD release in the United States next month, December 9, James Gunn has been sharing more awesome production photos that highlight the prosthetics and designs that went into the sets as well as the background extras. In addition, the director told ComicBook that there are some Guardians Easter eggs that many have not noticed. "Yeah, there's definitely some things that people haven't seen," he said. "There's definitely one really big thing that people haven't seen, but they may never see it -- we'll see. There's other things, too. The other day, I posted on my Instagram a picture of the other guys going for the Infinity Stone in the temple of Morag and I didn't see anybody bringing that up until just a couple of weeks ago." Woke up to hundreds of messages here on Facebook, on Twitter and Instagram from folks who had watched #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy on digital last night (it's now on iTunes, Vudu, XBox, Playstation, Verizon, Google Play, CInema Now, and Target Ticket). It's a joy to hear from those seeing the movie for the first time and a joy to hear from those folks discovering the fun of multiple viewings. I really did try to design the movie so there were pleasures to be found in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th viewings, and beyond!
