Twitter Report: IM2's Visual Fx Coordinator Shifts to Thor

Another tweet from Iron Man 2's visual effects coordinator, Darrell Hunt, reports that he'll be starting on Marvel's Thor very soon.
Here is the tweet:

Double duty. Starting with Thor at the end of December. ILM has lots of good visuals. Good direction being taken.

Do you think this contributes to the uncertain mention, that Iron Man 2's Trailer will debut on Christmas day. Also Notice that Darrell says that its a good direction that the Industrial Light and Magic(ILM) guys are taking with Thor. I really hope this film delivers, and isn't all talk, but I can truly say I believe in Kevin Feige's belief in Kenneth Branagh.

sweet, just give the film a $150 million or higher budget and it should turn out to be a great movie, hopefully they get the right cast and crew for Captain America.

score im pumped for Thor sadly more than Captain America because no offense but half of your fan cast all suck at least your cap choices screw Jensen Ackles and Jason Lewis im from mass so this shouldn't surprise you all but Matt Damon for Captain America

@MarvelFreshmen your news along with a select few others are always music to my ears.So far all new news from Thor is good news...Let's hope it lives up....cuz the hype is starting to excite me to Captain America and Avengers level.

Hopefully we get some of the Cap cast in the next month, Anyone we don't expect can be cast as the role as Cap, many people didn't expect Hemsworth as thor, Damon wouldn't be a bad choice as Cap.

we probably won't see any Captain America casting for the next four months or so.
i wish the film would pick up the pace a bit.
but the Thor news has WICKED AWESOME the past few weeks!!

Anyways................

I agree with Matt Damon for Cap, I think he would do an excellent job! The only other suggestion I've seen on here that I might agree with is Sam Worthington (that the right name? Guy from Terminator) I liked him in Terminator, just wanna see how he is in Avatar before I decide if I like him overall.

But yeah, for me, it's Matt Damon all the way! :)


Oh, & like everyone else is saying, I don't think I've seen bad Thor news yet. Can't wait!! :)

I personally think Captain America casters are really looking at Avatar's performance too(to judge if he's a bankable leading man....because it's no secret about him being tied to the role)...i'm thinking....if it does extremly well...guess what CBM title role casting we'll hear next!......u guessed it.if it dosent go well....i'd like to see Leo DiCaprio(if he can get into shape...may not be a problem cuz he immerses himself in his roles)

im betting the role of cap will be filled by someone non of us never thought of the same way non of us were talking about Hemsworth for thor... either way im sure it will be a good choice the movies marvel has put out have been top notch

I know someone who says he knows a few names Marvel is toying with. He wouldn't tell me who they were, but he did tell me that Chris O'Donnell isn't one of them, when I asked. He also added that he isn't that excited about who they are considering.

i watched troy today, not the best movie, but what i did pull from that movie is if cap was made like 5 years ago brad pitt would be a great choice for cap. storming the beach of troy like it was d day

Im loving all of the Thor news thats been coming in lately (and I cant wait until Janury when we'll probably finally get to see some shots of the cast, set or something) but I really wish they'd hurry up and announce who they're going to cast as Cap! The thought of waiting until next year drives me nuts, lol!
